10 Types Of People Who Agitates For Biafra by egift(m): 11:09am On Dec 03, 2015
From all the discussions, protests and chest beating, I have observed some group of persons who have been agitating for the division of Nigeria and the creation of a caveland in the South East Regions of Nigeria.

Here are my top ten categories of persons involved in this agitations:
1. Those That Never Witnessed The Last Civil War
Majority of those protesting now never had the opportunity of living through the 3yrs of the Nigeria-Biafra Civil War. They have no firsthand experience of the hunger, killings, destruction, bombings, rapes, sickness, agony, pains, murder, fear, etc. These category of mostly youths have not tasted peace and war. The people instigating this agitations finds this group easy prey to hoodwink.

2. PDP supporters who cannot get pass the defeat of Jonathan
Ever since the PDP lost the Presidency, the agitation for biafra has taken full swing. The fact is that many of their supporters never imagined that it will be possible defeat a sitting Nigerian President (not when he is backed by the PDP). Therefore the loss was unexpected. Some who can not get pass the defeat, have resorted to taking a jab at President Buhari and supporting anything that will undermining the nation under the leadership of Buhari.

3. Elders who have failed in life and want to use the Agitation to become relevance
I have met old men who have failed in every aspect of life, their only show of strength is exaggerated tales of bravery in the Civil War. This tales have also fueled many youths who are gullible enough to fall for them to believe that just by the wave of the hand, the US, UN and EU will join forces and destroy Nigeria and give them their Caveland. And that killing few innocent Nigerians will give them a Republic.

4. Those who brag with Other People's achievements
These set of agitators have no single achievement to their name, but they will come online and brag about Biafrans who are playing in to leagues, winning awards and being successful. They will use the names of such successful persons to insult others and even fight over nothing. For these ones, getting Biafra will be achieved through bragging and bad-mouthing others people.

5. The Emperor-Wannabes
People like Nnamdi Kanu, BecomeRich (Musiwa), Uwazurike, Dokubo and their supporters are part of the agitation for Biafra with the primary objective of becoming Emperors that will rule over the people.

6. Those Hell Bent on Undermining the current administration
These category agitators for biafra have the misconstrued belief that some people in the North used the destruction from Boko Haram miscreants to undermine the tenure of former President Jonathan, therefore it is a payback time. They are in full support of anything, anyhow that undermines the administration of President Buhari (and if the agitation for Biafra will do, then fine by them).

7. The Brain Washed And Misinformed Fellows
As an Igbo man who strongly believe in a One, United, Stronger Nigeria – I have met many people who present to me some very ridiculous claims on how close they are with having Biafra with USA, Britain, EU, Chinese and Russians battled-ready to support the IPOB. Not long ago (last year), someone told me that Nigeria is expired and UN have already signed off and it is just a matter of days. Last spent over 3 minutes laugh when a friend told me that Jonathan is now the Leader of all the Presidents in Africa and that is why he will go to “every” election that is conduct in Africa till he retires. I had a really good laugh.

8. The Jobless Ones
Everywhere in the world, unemployment is a very serious problem. It is all around us in Nigeria too. Many jobless fellows and under-employed youth in the East have found refuge as agitators to vent their frustrations.

9. The Fearful Fellows
This reluctant supporters, sponsors and financiers of the agitation, fear that speaking against this misguided quest will bring backlash on them, their families and businesses. Most times they keep silent and if pushed, they offer their support to avoid stories that touches the heart. These ones don't want to be called Sabo, Efulefu, etc. It reminds me a documentary I watched about successful immigrants in the Europe and America who send money home to terror groups to avoid engendering their family members back home.

10. The Anarchists
These group of agitators just love anarchy. These trouble makers don’t even need any motivation before they jump in – arguing, fighting and destroying things as if their lives depend on it.

Another deceived Easterner,

It is unjust to beat a child and also force the child not to cry

You don't put gifted child in a class full of dumb students to begin with as it will impede on the development of the child.

You are still ignorant of the meaning of unequality let alone justice. Ever had of the 3Rs

As Godswill Akpabio will like to put it, if the war has actually ended, why is there no plan to implement the Rehabilitation and Reconstruction in the region where the war was actually fought and facilities / infrastructures bombed to stone age. On a second look, the reconstruction and rehabilitation started and were focused in the North and Western Regions of Nigeria.

There is a grand plan to suffocate the people of Eastern Nigeria and continue the devastation through skewed policy implementations by falsifying Census figures to favour the victors of the civil war, negligence to providing minimal life sustaining infrastructures that will spur growth and development that would help to stop these uncontrollable mass movement of the Igbo youths to other regions where these amenities are readily available.

Today, the North is killing the Igbos after the Igbos have surrendered to one Nigeria while the West is threatening fire and brimstone preparing its people to unleash genocide on the Igbos in the South West unless they surrender their wealth and liberties to the Yorubas and forgo their political rights as enshrined in the constitution of One Nigeria.

Bros, the Igbos need breathing space, equal right and justice after surrendering to One Nigeria but alas what we are seeing is more hostilities, threats and call for genocide of our people

Even the sharing and allocation of political offices in present Government and the ruling Party is a testament that the war has not ended

Every right thinking person knows that Biafra agitation is legal and timely too, truth be told. Buhari acted as a catalyst to it by ordering for the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu.If he wants it to stop , let him do the right thing.

Discussing matters of National importance like employment, development and holding our leaders accountable from the Councillors, to the LG Chairmen, the Governors, Lawmakers, Judges and Presidency - is different from threatening hell and thunder.

Nigeria reserves every right to defend itself from external and internal threats.

Leaders of these Agitators should guide their members to discuss what important and leave the rusty chest beating. War is a wind that will not blow anyone any good. And if you believe Nigeria as a nation will not use every needed force to defend herself then you think wrong.

With the dignity of an emperor I've followed the agitations but its not yet time for me to make my grand entrance cool
As for the OP,while his colleagues have gone past the war and are ever ready to support the restoration of the sublime republic, he's still dazed in the horrors of the war and is afraid of facing head on the Awusa soldier his friends fought with bare hands! undecidedshocked
Lemme say this to him...grow up!!

Am happy you recognized the youthful nature of the Biafran spring but should even one gram of TNT go off anywhere in the seven states of Igboland, buhari your taskmaster would regret the day he decided to return to the seat IBB threw him out from.

As for the mods, you can return me to the 3days ban am just returning from for posting another Biafran/Igbo map angry

Do you know that almost every structure and investment in the Southeast was bombed to stone age during the war? Do you know that the FG promised to rebuild, reconstruct and rehabilitate the region to sustain livelihood and investment? Why is it that none was implemented

Do you know the cause and why Igbo youths migrate to other regions in Nigeria in droves? There are no structures to sustain their livelihood except individual investments and projects.

Your comment is why most Southwesterners thought to be evil and inconsiderate.

They fight the resurgence of Biafra to avoid any form of negotiation with FG to avoid any extra budgetary advantage when of a truth the region lack every federal presence except revenue collection agencies.

Can you imagine that 98% of businesses and 95% of the investments in Southeast are owned by Southeasterners?

There are marginally no investors or infrastructure the FG can boast of hence they people needs independence.

Buhari collected $2,1billion to rebuild the northeast when the rehabilitation and reconstruction of bombed eastern region is still being awaited after 45 years.

Freedom is what Easterners need, freedom they will get.

That was and remain the policy upon which one Nigeria was built, economic and political strangulation of Igboland was the agenda of the "victors".

Whenever you see an Igbo man shouting one Nigeria, 3 things are involved:

1. He is mentally slow and should in that case be forgiven.

2. He has selfish interests to protect in Nigeria, it doesn't matter if the rest of his people burns and are denigrated, as one Nigeria must be preserved to serve his selfish interests, which might range from political, emotional( love) , economic and other senseless interests

3. He has no knowledge of his Igbo history. You know they don't teach history in Nigerian schools. His Nigerian education system failed him, and worst still, his parents failed him, for not teaching him about the history of his people. He ultimately gets to learn the history of his people through outsiders and detractors, and of course the version of history they give him is a false one albeit anti- Igbo, so he develops self hate for himself and his group. We have many of them on NL. This happens more to Igbos born and raised in Lagos and other non Igbo parts of Nigeria.

Any mentally stable, unselfish Igbo man who knows the history of Igbo people in Nigeria, is innately Biafran to the core.

He might disagree with methods used by Igbo groups to achieve Biafra, but he is never pro Nigerian, Never! [/b]

When u hear those Igbos talking about their oil in Biafra land. I begin to wonder where there oil is located. They all relied on d wealth of another region to shout Biafra Biafra everyday. While say they were forced into a marriage called Nigeria. They themselves are trying to force my south-south zone into another evil marriage. We are not Biafra and can never be.

Stop living in 20th century.

Provoking peaceful protesters and agitators by the JTF cannot and will never cause bombing of civilian areas again. IPOB respect and love the sanctity of life and are the most civilized protesters anywhere in the world - quote me

What you don't know is that the Authorities have kept observatory posture because we are hoping those agitators will listen to reason and quit their nuisance.

If this noise making degenerates, sending in the armed forces, teargas, rubber bullets, hot water, arrests, detentions, curfew anld even declaring State Of Emergency are all legal, acceptable and expected. And if there are packets of flash points and attacks, the government will send in the Troops and heavy firepower.

Be very careful what you wish for. I don't want to hear stories that touches.

You forgot the FG will not do any of these because of human rights until they ask the protesters the reasons for their protests.

Tho nigeria don't care about fundamental human rights...

When this misguided agitations leads to the untimely deaths of innocent Nigerians (protesters and passersby). All we will hear from their supporters are "Human Rights Woohh" - Human Rights Waahh" - RIP and the dead are long gone.

No country in the world will stop Nigeria from sending in forces to stop and disruption of laws and order in any part of Nigeria. Not UN, and not AU.

Instead of bringing violence to our communities, agitations should be on how to bring in development, jobs and commerce.
