nah intel builds power efficient cpu compared to amd cuz a 6700k has a tdp of 91w compared to a fx 8350 with over 100w and even pricewise the 6700k costs about 300$ while the fx 8350 is just over 100$ and their clock speeds are in d same range

Forgot to say processor clock cycles and TDP has nothing to do with it. It's about how quickly those clock cycles can process huge data sets or how they can perform on demanding benchmarks. Currently, Intel does best AMD, however that might change with AMDs upcoming zen line
