The year 2015 brought highlights of the good,
the bad and the total absurd in many forms.
You thought you had seen it but a man in
China, entered the history books for absurdity
when he committed suicide because the
woman he got married to was so ugly he could
not stand her sight.
1. Wedding Bells: Man drowns himself after
seeing ugly bride for the first time »
Groom Kang Hu was left so disappointed after
seeing his bride for the first time that he he
attempted to drown himself.
‘I feel bad about what happened but when I
saw her she wasn’t what I had expected and I
realised she would be bad for my image,’ he
said after being fished from a river.
The 33-year-old stunned guests when he
apologised to bride Na Sung, 30, after saying
she was ‘too ugly’ before the wedding in
Shiyan, in central China’s Hubei province.
2. Everything In Common: Mother, daughter

A South African woman, Mildred Mashego, and
her daughter Patricia, have entered the record
books as the first mother and daughter to give
birth to their babies in the same month and
for the same man.
It was reported that that 38-year-old
Mashego of Casteel, South Africa, was
pregnant when she learned that her 19-year-
old daughter was also pregnant, and the two
were due just days apart.
But her anger turned to shock when she found
out that the man responsible for her
daughter's condition was the same man who
was going to be the father of her child,
Vincent Malumane.

This 35-year-old man, Wahab Sa’adu , from in
Kwara State, was so frustrated with his
inability to perform in bed that he used a
sharp knife to cut his own penis, blaming the
act on manipulation from witches.
"Prior to the incident, I had a dream in which
three unidentified women appeared to me and
ordered that I drink battery acid, which I did
the following morning without the knowledge
of anyone.
Three days after, I had another dream where
the same women ordered me to wake up and
cut off my manhood. It was after cutting it off
that I regained consciousness. So I rushed
home for immediate remedy," he lamented on
his hospital bed.
5. Stupidity: Dumped boyfriend leaks

A Malawian lady called Charmaine Asedi, had
a bitter taste after her ex-boyfriend leaked her
nude photos on social media for jilting him.
The man was angry that after spending a lot
of money on Asedi, she decided to dump him
for another man who is richer.

Still coming out of Malawi, this 18-year-old
daughter of a preacher in Malawi known as
Lindiwe, brought shame to her family when
her nude photos also became a sensation
after they were leaked on social media and
they went viral.
It was reported that her boyfriend got angry
after she dumped him and pronto, he
unleashed nude photos of the girl on social
media during their days of wild sex orgies.
As a result, the girl went into hiding while her
father's religious television programme
suffered low patronage with advertisers pulling
out in droves.
7. God's Creature: 'Uganda's ugliest man'

In Uganda, there is a yearly pageant organized
for the ugliest man and Godfrey Baguma was
winner of the contest for three years running.
While many thought such men would find it
difficult to get a wife, Baguma was actually
celebrating the birth of his eighth child from
his second wife, a very pretty young lady.
Baguma who has put his disadvantage to
good use, even has a musical album and is
himself, a centre of attraction.

Back home in Nigeria, a 56-year-old man was
caught red handed by his wife having sex with
his 13-year-old step-daughter.
The woman went into a frenzy and stripped
the man and her daughter naked and made
them parade their street naked.
The man later confessed that he had been
sleeping with the girl for two years.

Nigerians knew little or nothing about this
transgender called Stephanie Rose but she
became an instant fixture when she came out
firing from all cylinders, calling God all sorts
of names.
Born Dapo Adaralegbe, he was a popular
homosexual studying Law at the prestigious
Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife, before he was
expelled in 2001 due to his identity crisis,
escaped to Holland and had a sex change and
became a woman.
Since then, she has become a non-conformist
God hater, taking swipes at the make and His

Going down history lane, we dug into the
archives and unearthed the inglorious reign of
one of Nigeria's most notorious armed
bandits, Lawrence Anini, aka Lawrence The
Law.
Anini was so feared that he held the old
Bendel State, now Edo and Delta, by their balls
and even had the then Military President,
Ibrahim Babangida, asking the then Inspector
General of Police, Etim Inyang :
"My friend, where is Anini?"
Such was his reign of terror.
He was later arrested and executed on March
29, 1987.
Lawrence Nomanyagbon Anini, was on of
Nigeria's most notorious armed robbers who
held sway in the old Bendel State (Now Edo
and Delta States).
His reign in the 80s was so bloody that he
was even discussed at the State Security
Council meeting. Anini was born in 1960, and
was executed on March 29, 1987, following his
conviction by a Benin High Court for armed
robbery.

It was a sad end for a pretty staff of Silverbird
TV, Lagos, Aisha Noble Mustapha , who was
allegedly stabbed to death by her married
boyfriend because she refused to abort the
pregnancy she was carrying for him.
Mustapha was reportedly stabbed 11 times by
the man in the evening of Saturday, March 14,
2015, on her way back from her office, in front
of her residence in Ogudu GRA.
