Well in my opinion the only way for things to work is devolution. Resource control, local government autonomy is super necessary...but we shouldn't deceive ourselves. The economy is only oil dependent at the moment meaning only the niger delta contributes so why would the other states agree to devolution? Why would they accept anything that will make things work? The present system enables those contributing nothing to live fat of the nation's wealth at the expense of the wealth creators. The high corruption is sustained by the present system so why would the majority want a better system?

Seun why are your MODS censuring peoples accounts of whats happening in Kaduna?

Does Nairaland want the killings to continue in Kaduna or what?

Your MOD in this thread removed my comment showing a victims account of whats happened in Kaduan

Why remove it?

Nigerian Lawmakers Uncover Clause In Loan Deal Conceding Nigeria’s Sovereignty To China

The committee noted that the clauses in Article 8(1) of the commercial loan agreement signed between Nigeria and Export-Import Bank of China allegedly concedes sovereignty of Nigeria to China in the $400m loan for the Nigeria National Information and Communication Technology Infrastructure Backbone Phase II Project signed in 2018.

Seun:
Fellow Nairalanders,

Nairaland loves Igbos and Niger Deltans very much. The thought of being separated from them for any reason is unbearable to us, so we have decided that we will reject any attempt by anyone to use Nairaland to promote the idea of removing Igbos and Niger Deltans from Nigeria.

We have updated rule 9 of Nairaland to reflect this decision. It now says:

I'd like to urge all Nairaland members to respect and obey rule 9. Mynd44 is in charge of enforcing it. If you break this rule, you'll be banned.

Thanks,
Seun (Founder Of Nairaland).
ur days shall be long seun, some individual thinks nairaland is an avenue for them to always call Igbos miscreants. Am not even igbo but i hate whoever hates any part of the country except those who kills other.

Britain Said Black life matters but they allowed Scotland that is about 5 million in population to be a country and denied Biafra that is about 50 million plus from having their own country .
is this not greatest Racism on Earth earth ?
e
Many are talking of Restructuring but the restructurung was what was discussed in Aburi Accord on January, 1967 which Gowon refused to implement the Aburi Accord which made Ojukwu to to declare the Freedom of His People 5 months later.

I stand with the disintegration of the Almagamation of Arewa , Oduduwa , Biafra , And Midle bet to form what has never worked for man kind for more than 100 years ..

Referendum is the best..

let everybody decide if He want 1 nigeria or not ..

Not every nation produces oil nd they are one of the greatest in Economy.

country like Luxembourg is really doing great but there r not oil producing nation.

meanwhile it hav been predicted that oil will not be valuable in 30 years ahead. and many technology industries are producing Electric vehicle nd so on.

The earlier the people of Nigeria Understand that they are not one , the better for them ..

i can never accept to be in the sane country where fulani is...

This act of particularism in thoughts have continue to set this country on a divisive and destructive ethnic paradigm, avowedly now being championed by so many leader in Nigeria.

This ethnic and tribal sectionality, which has been primal in our forefathers has metamorphosed into our current leaders, and this is indeed worrisome, because our youths Which remain the greater number of the populace have continue to be the ones receiving the heat of our leaders tribal, ethnic and sectional actions.

In this light, I have a high consternation of any act of nationality and integration of this country, if our leaders remain in this their artful, cunningly present condition.

My point is clear!

News alert ! News alert !! News alert !!!

Nigeria army have directed all security agents in Nigeria to stop wearing their uniforms while in Biafra land for information gathering.

Remember that our so called political elites and Ohaneze Ndigbo have diplomatic passports and private jets, they have all sent their families abroad were there is security .

On any slightest uproar , they Will fly away with either their diplomatic passports or private jets to any neighboring country for safety. Meanwhile they have collected money from the Fulani to betray us.

To this end, please my beloved Biafran brothers and sisters, if you see any strange, unfamiliar faces in our land, stop the person, ask the person to speak Igbo language,if unable to do so, then do the needful. Enough is enough. Self defense is not a crime.
