Nigeria is a perfect case study for corruption, so why are we shocked about it. The dude deserve a distinction for using Nigeria as a case study for corruption. Nigeria is synonymous with the word corruption. 55 Likes 2 Shares |

They are just starting, better go and find your own project topic and submit your own corrupt thesis on time... Nigeria! Land of Opportunities... Enough Corrupt Cases to treat, soon we would have a Prof of Corruption Studies. Plenty diseases, poverty and unemployment katakata to write thesis on. 1 Like |

Good... hopefully the thesis is available online so we can all learn from it. In addition to the usual Nigeria-bashing, the book should cover: 1. how Nigeria is developing and growing in spite of corruption 2. how Nigeria's money has funded Europe over the decades 3. why Europe's governments looked the other way as their banks and real estate sector took in money 4. how we can transition from a consuming economy to a producing economy. In my view, corruption is caused mostly by the perception (not fact, but perception) that there is only one way to get rich: oil and gov't connections. Once more and more people realize that wealth can be and is created by "making stuff", and Nigerians make and buy made-in-Nigeria products, corruption will be drastically reduced. Instead of punishing "corrupt people", steps should be made to reduce the enabling environment. 9 Likes 2 Shares |

Hmmm, neo-colonialism. Nigeria is not the only corrupt country in the world, these white people should mind their biz. They encourage 3rd world corruption to benefit their country, and yet still paint us more corrupt. I don't blame them, I blame the shylock we av as leaders who see leadership position not as a privilege to serve but as an opportunity to acquire the unimaginable. 3 Likes |
