But he has been passing through Boko Haram street and nothing happened.

Not totally true.. A part of his convoy was attacked in borno by some boko haram remnants, when he sent them ahead of him to scout his area of passage...

It was stated far and near that there is no tym for rubbish by killing every single one of the brainwashed nicompoops resoundingly..

Even though the Shites should not have blocked his convoy
Call genocide by what it is

They attacked first an attack on any governemnt appointed individual especially one of high ranking as Buratai ,is an attack on Nigeria.
The shiites are extremists whom i consider troublesome and violent.

what do you think would have happened if they had succeeded in killing Buratai? They would grow more wings and assume they can attack buhari next as well as take over Nigeria. The army would have declared war on Zaria to avenge the General had they succeeded and casualties of war wont even be accounted for.

what we are saying is that blocking of road/ beg them to clear still not justify the massacre haba they even went ahead to their house midnight to do more and demolish it, hian you get mind ooo
Can u tell me why Americans soldiers are in Iraq and Afghanistan? If u can you will know that the military worldwide are trained to take battle to the enemy's territory to avoid otherwise. The shittes bit more than they could chew without wisdom. Even ancient wars n conflicts from biblical days were fought like dat militarily.

Don't support impunity, the chief of army staff is a mere human being that can die by a single shot of bullet just like other humans, he is no god. GEJ's convoy was stoned, blocked during his visits to some northern states yet not a single person was shot and you are trying to justify the shooting of protesters because they blocked the road of a mere chief of army staff who cant even fight fellow armed militias like boko haram.

The military could have easily escorted their principal and clear the road for him without shooting at protesters and demolishing their place of worship, killing their leaders. If they pick up arms tomorrow now, your so called chief of army staff and his men will not know how to trigger a gun again.

Nigerian military are supermen when faced with civilians but when they are faced with their fellow armed militia, they run like women and babies screaming that they don't have bullets.

Dont ever publicly state what you have no evidence or are certain of.You have no idea on what the army goes through in securing this nation.

Did you watch the video where the Generals where begging miscreants to give him way?Miscreants who where wielding cutlass and sticks threatening Generals of the Nigerian Army over a road that belongs to all us.Please go and watch the Video first..Even in the US,Nobody dares do such..I guess you know Americans are even being killed by the Police and they are discharged and acquitted by the Court..

If I am the Nigerian President and my Chief of Army Staff was made to turn back on a Nigerian road blocked by some hooligans, I'd sack him. The day the Chief of army staff is prevented from moving in this country, then who else can move around freely?

Thank You

We are so lucky you are not the president!

Shame is the summary of what you wrote.
Some "miscreants" block the road where hundreds of people pass through but
when your crude COAS got there he pulled out his gun and started killing the
miscreants and you have the guts to defend him.

If you want to live in a jungle where your life is as
important as that of an insect, kindly migrate there
together with your barbaric COAS.

In a sane country, Buratahi should have been sacked by now.

And thus they had to massacre this miscreants?
Have you ever heard that those who are strongest ought to show restraint the most?
Is the Army just knowing about the activities of the Shias?
From what we have read about this people, its not the first time they've blocked the road?
The Army chief flying to the Army depot to do his function is not a show of cowardice
Rather, it would have been wisdom for the way many Northerners reason is baffling at times
Afterwards, the political and spiritual leadership of the Shias would have been approached with the government firmly impressing on the need for curtailing of their followers to act within ambit of the law
But what to we have?

I feel there are so many eggheads, dull heads, nut heads empty heads in our society the why our country can't just come up and move forward, please for crying out loud, how do you expect a military convoy to turn back because of a groups illegal procession, and because of their links to Iran, call it masacare, genocide or anything, the army did nothing wrong, how could the army abandon their constitutional duty because some outlaws in the name of religion are on the way, can Iran allow such on its land? This is how BH began and the law enforcement were cowed due to political and religious sentiments, Now BH has blown out of proportion leavin thousands dead, wounded or displaced, the army and the nation not being left out.

What good has religion done for this country? What religion allows its followers to: carry any form of weapon in self defense, block the road to stop a legal duty, to cause fear and panic in the mind of fellow citizens, disrupts public peace?

The officers were lenient enough to have sued for peace and beg to pass, it's a form of insurrection they suppressed to forestall a future occurrence. Religion should teach people to be law abiding anything outside the law is lawlessness and cannot be entertained. Iran won't take it that it's army turned back because of a religious procession on the highway by a Muslim sect the whole country being Islam aligned, our country can't be a dumping ground for all sorts of religious whatever. The army did nothing wrong again I say.

Sir, you are being prejudiced about the issue. If you consider this issue objectively, you won't be lashing at the Nigerian Army considering the precarious state the country has been subjected to. It takes pains to change an untoward behaviour. It's not the first time they blocked public road for their private activities, there is always a first time to change a-never-challenged-attitude.

It would have been fair to call the NigerianArmy coward if they had turned back at the hardiness of these bloody civilians. Their action smacked of terrorism in this time fraught with danger. Nobody is above the law and lawlessness by a group should not be allowed to go unpunished. They got what they deserved. If this kind of action was taken by the youth in my community, I would support extreme punishment as last resort.

The NigerianArmy did the right thing sir.

I[b]n one sentence, do you the universal military law called "Rules of Engagement"?

That was the guiding spirit behind the action of the Military Chief , Lt General Buratai.

Why do you support a set of misguided animals who want to murder a military chief? Do you realise that by now if the inevitable happened , this country would have been a police state and the laughing stock in the comity of nations?

Theres more to this than we were made to believe, until fashola place ban on religious and party people blocking roads for ceremony in lagos virtually all the big mosque blocks road to observe the friday afternoon prayer and not even the president ever contested the road with the worshippers. Peter rufai or whats he called should have banned this earlier but he allowed it to go on for God knows why until now that the carnage has been done.

You are free to believe that sad
However in hindsight the response of the military was rash shocked
Nigeria doesn't need the backlash from Iran, UK, US and the EU on this matter
Hope it doesn't turn out a pyrrhic victory when the dust settles
Hope you can comprehend this
Or you probably are still too busy laughing undecided

You really think the US cares about what Nigerians do?

We have our own issues to deal with.

Wait till Trump moves into the WH and then you'll truly see US colors.

I would agree with you publicly but it's apparently against Nairalands policy to have an opinion on enemies of the state as defined in the constitution.

Something that the mod that banned me have probably never read before.
