I write in relations to the topic entitled 'APC now riding on Jonathan's legacies'.

Objective, factual, and empirical criticism are the hallmarks of a strong opposition party, but it is incredible that PDP has resorted to baseless, unverifiable and unempirical criticism that cannot withstand the test of time. Throughout the thread, PDP took glory for a minor advancement of railway project that have been existing even before the advent of the recent democratic dispensations.

Against the general belief that APC was criticizing PDP when the project was flagged off, APC's criticism was based on the assertion that Nigeria is not America: we cannot afford new trains according to Okupe's assertion. You can open the thread below to see Nigerian's opinions on nairaland as at then -

http://gistpartner.com/2015/03/09/nigeria-is-not-americawe-cannot-afford-new-trains-doyin-okupe/

As a Nigerian, the question begging for answer up till date in my mind is that - is it true that Nigerian was so broke to the extent that we cannot afford even a single new train as at then?

Continuity is not only one of the hallmarks of corporate governance according to Nolan's principle of corporate governance, it is also one of the major reference point when it comes to succession planning: it is incredible that only a few embedded with deeper mental horizon, can recognize this. Even if railway was inaugurated to Nigerian by GEJ which he does not, it will still need sustainability, maintenance and continuity.

God bless Nigeria

APC preached Change! and never continuity! true or false?

So keep quiet and tell your shameless later day saints to initiate new standard guage railines and fulfill their campaign promises!!!

No depth. Very weak rebuttal.
So what should we celebrate now, that we shouldn't celebrate before now.

I doubt it if you read the above passage. If SA can afford train, what is wrong with Nigeria? Or every money is meant to be embezzled?
