Making A Contribution In Nigeria? by Nobody: 9:47am On Jun 09, 2009
someone opened a thread asking what each and everyone of us has done for the country. and one of our governors also said, ''youths should help the government for the government to help them''. the truth of the matter is those statements are baseless and so irrelevant because those in government owes us far more than we owe them. what the nigerian government owes us is exactly what can enable us do something for the government. why should they be questioning the citizens contribution when our contributed votes to elect a credible leader doesnt count? even our schools were we can learn and be empowerd to assist the country is left decaying. how do you expect us to make any countributions to the nation? what can you contibute when you dont have a job to express your skills that the nation can benefit from? even if you contribute something positive like ribadu for instance, will the government honour you achievement? we are simply paralyzed. let the government help us first before we can think of helping the government.
