Maulid Procession in Kano/ Free Zakzaky: AT LEAST ONE MILLION FROM KANO ARE WILLING TO VISIT SHEIKH ZAKZAKY Thursday, 24 December 2015 15:46 By Muhammad Isa “ Since the Inspector General of Nigerian Police has said followers of Shaikh Ibraheem Yaquob El Zakzaky (H) are free to visit their leader, only about One Million from Kano zone will be ready to visit Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) when due”- Mallam Sanusi Abdulqadir. Mal Sunusi Abdul Kadir, in his speech at the concluding Maulidin Nabiy (SAWA) procession today Thursday 12th Rabiul Auwal 1437 (24/12/2015) in Kano city, expressed the willingness of brothers and sisters of the revered Shaikh Ibraheem Yaquob El Zakzaky (H) in Kano to visit the Sheikh. This year’s Mauludin Nabiy (SAWA) procession in Kano, like the previous years, passed through some major neighborhood in the old city voicing out their love of our Noble Rasool (SAWA) and his Ahlul Bait (AS) on this occasion, as well as the call for the immediate and unconditional release of Shaikh Ibraheem Yaquob El Zakzaky (H) and his followers held by the Nigerian security operatives after all forms of atrocitities commited by the Nigerian Army in Zaria city, Nigeria. The participants of the procession held various flags, posters while voicing the purpose of the procession, and giving a paper release signed by Mal Abdul Hamid Bello on the stance of the Islamic Movement on the Arrest of its Leader as well as presented gift items to onlookers. Likewise with Ittihadul Shu’arah singing praise of our Noble Prophet (SAWA). The procession took place with free flow of traffic and controls at T-Junctions. A closing prayers from Mal Sunusi AbdulKadir marked the end of the Maulid procession at Fagge Jumma’at Mosque in Kano around 1pm.
