Arsenal's win yesterday put them at the top of the table, pending the outcome of the match tonight. A win over Mancity will see Leicester leapfrog Arsenal.

Vardy and Mahrez have a late fitness test due to illness and fatigue respectively. Mancity has lost Kompany who lasted 9 minutes in their win against Sunderland on Boxing day.

It promises to be an exciting game. Leicester is a near-perfect counter attacking team, standing 18th in possession in the league. Mancity has its away demons to cast away. Their game against Sunderland saw them clicking.

I'm hoping they draw but if Leicester city wins it won't upset me one bit even though I support Arsenal. They've proved themselves this season. Besides it's refreshing to see a supposed mid/bottom table team give the big boys a run for their money.

33'Kolarov is a lucky, lucky man here as the referee bails him out massively for blowing for a foul after a challenge from Vardy, even though there appeared to be very little contact. If the Serbian was robbed of the ball in that position there, then the Leicester striker would have had a straight route through one-on-one with Hart!

37'When looking at the line-ups before the match, it was clear that Ranieri was opting for a 4-5-1 generating into a 4-3-3 formation when the hosts are attacking, and it has not paid off massively as of yet as his players haven't really adapted from their typical 4-4-2 structure. Currently, Vardy is just a bit isolated in the final third, so he needs his partner in crime, Mahrez, to just come in a little more central.

Half time at the King Power. Goals were expected in this Barclays Premier League clash between Leicester and Man City, but it has been proved that we are witnessing two fairly evenly matched teams this season as we head into the break at a 0-0 stalemate. Both sides have enjoyed some chances created in the opposition final thirds, but it is probably Kasper Schmeichel who has been the busier of the two goalkeepers. A very interesting second half to come! Who will be top of the table at the end of 2015?

Kolarov stands over the set-piece and whips a wicked cross deep into the penalty area, but there are no takers from the visitors which allows Huth and Morgan to combine and clear the danger.

49'Leicester really have defended excellently tonight which is interesting considering that it has been their extremely impressive attacking play this season that has saw them catapult up the table - not their ability to keep clean sheets. Let's see if they can keep it up at the back in this second half!

57'It really is a mystery as to how no goals have been scored this evening, but if you had to pick your finger on it you would put it down to the solidity of Schmeichel, the sheer desire to defend by the Leicester backline, and arguably City's inability to find the final ball! Well, may actually not be a mystery then...

Leicester can of course revert back to their more favoured 4-4-2, while City have some options on the bench to potentially replace Aguero, who still doesn't look particularly fit.
