hey friend.
now that you have taken the 1st step of learning this profession and gainrd enough mastery of it.
What you need do now is to look for people of like minds , show  them what you can do and them to partner with you .

you have made a good decision asking for help but be wise in implementing them
you'll hear people say a lot of things about your interest but stick to your vision because it will surely come to pass though it may tarry

if u have the financial capacity to build a name 4 urself in the fashion industry and draw a good/wealthy client base then u'll make money and maybe get to sell ur stuff at well known stores like macys etc
ex. someone designing makeshifts for his sisters and friends vs a notable designer like kate spade designing for hollywood celebrities etc

yea so if u have good connections etc u can make it

I have been searching the net for books on how to sew and design clothes. More specifically, Nija clothes. It’s surprising how difficult it is trying to get one. Please if anyone has information on the matter or better still how I can procure these books either abroad or in Nija I’l be glad to know.

To cut a long story short, you need to learn how to sew with patterns. Pattern designing you may call it. It involves creating a style with software, getting it into patterns that can be printed with computer-aided design, and cut out for your tailors to work with, giving you inch perfect fitting and finishing.

This is the hallmark of modern day sewing which we do in our company, and acquiing this knowledge is compulsory for anyone who wants to be relevant in the world of fashion design.

If you want to get the training, you must be ready to cough out t least $3000 for this course, which willbe in phases and willtake you at least one year to learn.

It is a very practical course; sewing clothes is not learnt by reading textbooks! It's that simple.
