A friend of mine got a job with a coy that market supplement in lagos. She's confused whether to take the offer or not. The pay is 40K. she is presently working as a secretary in a law firm. The law firm pays her 25k.

Is the 40k based on target sales or fixed salary. If its target, she would have to sell up to a specified quantity of the product to be able to achieve that 40k per month pay. If she didn't sell up to, its less pay for her. Simple

40K is the basic salary. You will be given extra 50k if you meet your target.

Too good to be true. Anyway, it all depends on your friends ability to sell. Is she ready to face the challenges that comes with selling? Can she endure long enough without backing out? All these and many more questions needs be answered before taking that big decision. I wish her all the best as she decides on where to turn.
