Pls. How can I stepdown a 6v dc current to 5v dc. I have the initial plan of using a rechargeable battery as a back-up for charging my phone inplace of a portable power bank, because it will last longer. Thanks |

Hi, u will have to buy a 5v regulator lm7805 and some other components or call 08076683788.ok See the diagram below

one single diode and a high watt low value resistor placed together in series and connected to the 6v battery positive terminal will do the job. A5v regulator ic will not work as it need an input voltage of at least 7v before it can regulate. |
