Table tennis is renowned sport worldwide, although it is mostly referred to as a game, table tennis is a sport like any other.
In Nigeria, this game is very popular in towns and cities but not in rural areas partly due to its playing conditions. It is an indoor game and wind is a serious constraint to play as the plastic balls are very light and easily blown-off.
Nigerian table tennis stars often star at the Olympics and perform remarkably well.
Segun Toriola is a reknowned Nigerian table tennis star. He has starred at the Olympics several times and have won medals for the country.

The game however is only viewed to be a great one by only people who have once participated actively or people who tend to like it having not participated.
I encourage Nigerians to take interest in this game and encourage our younger generations to take part in it either as a profession or as a hobby

Good one, but you made it sound as if table tennis is a snow polo or rugby to Nigerians. An average Nigerians love and play table tennis from childhood using soak away as a table. You can even see guys playing it in every streets in Lagos, Ibadan and Abuja these days.
