Heard a program on radio where a lady shared her story that she find it difficult to get married after disclosing to several of her suitors that that she's an adopted child of the parent she's living with and that most of those guys she dated never came back to him after disclosing her secret to them.
So guys can you marry an adopted girl who lives with her abductor and ladies can you also follow suit by marrying a guy who's an adopted child but never knew his biological parent and relatives.

First of all, OP it's 'Adopted' not 'Abducted'

Most men don't like dating adopted ladies because they don't actually know where she is from, her lineage, ethnicity, tribe or family history.

People prefer to at least have a knowledge of where their spouse is from. This is Nigeria, some tribes are labeled with certain stereotypes which most people believe and prefer to not be associated by. Some families are also marked with some negative repetitive occurrences which are commonly termed as curses and people always avoid marrying from such families. So with an adopted girl, it's impossible to know her family history and marrying her becomes a bit risky.

Also, some people might have the misconception that such girl may be cursed or might have been seen as a bad omen by her parents or relations who decided to give her up for adoption.

So most men believe it safer to marry girls who they at least know the family she is from.
