Oboi I witnessed it first hand. They brought their families, cars, food and drinks. Those sorta celebrations you see during university convocations grin.

Even NDA (RC) POP celebrations dey learn for where those RRI people dey . Some of them when did jotter grin. Can't blame them tho, to them it's a big achievement. You just have to celebrate and thank God no matter how little and ridiculous it might look to others.

No guarantee of coming back after their posting to North East so everyday being alive is worth celebrating.

These young men and women left their families and loved ones for training, many were withdrawn, while some died; and those that made it to the end, you termed their celebration shit, because they were recruits?.

It might interest you to know that these men and women you ridicule, will determine your career progression in the military, even your life will depend on them; mostly in the frontline.
