Special Forces is rather a strange affair or terms to many of us civilians that are just applying. So, its not out of place if u kindly explain what that means here.

Even I still don't get the 'BA in PE' which they specified as the Academic qualification

Well sir, you should have seen the answer to this question somewhere in this thread and online. However, my small knowledge says SSC means Short service combatants while DSSC means Direct short service commission/course. SSC cadets after 9 months training are commissioned as second lieutenants while dSSC are commissioned after 6months training as lieutenants. SSC cadets are trained on artillery, warfare receive more sophisticated drills than their dssc colleagues. Dssc is strictly on professional duty while ssc are fighters. Your discipline in ssc does not matter while in dssc it matters. I think these will suffice.
