Aviation Sector Is Collapsing —FG Cries Out by Nobody: 8:44pm On Jan 22, 2016
Determined to restore the dwindling fortune, Federal Government has cried out to the World Bank that the country’s aviation sector was at the verge of collapse. The Minister of State, Aviation, Sen.

Hadi Sirika raised the alarm while discussing the possibility of World Bank providing support for Project development in the Aviation Sector when Mr Guillemette Jaffrin and Mr Bayo Oyewole of the World Bank visited the Minister in Abuja.

Sirika said federal government was committed to revamp the entire aviation architecture to meet international standard, and that the entire Aviation Sector in the Country was collapsing.“The entire Aviation Sector in the Country is collapsing and the Federal Government is determined to revamp the sector to meet international standard,” he said.

Mrs Yetunde Sonaike, the Director of Press, Ministry of Transport in a statement made available to Vanguard stated that the minister urged all hands to be on deck so as to overhaul the entire sector.

He noted that no responsible Government would allow Contractors and Consultants to dictate how businesses are done to the detriment of the needs of Nigerian people.According to him, “Government is no longer driven by contractors and consultants as activities are driven by needs.”

He added that since inception of the Administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, the country’s ideas and philosophies have changed while the dayswhen Government’s businesses were carried out by contractors and consultants,’ were gone.

Is it just aviation sector that is collapsing? All sectors of our economy are collapsing under Buhari's watch just as it almost did in 1984.

This is just the beginning, when you join a sensitive trillion dollar, global sector with some local ministries, it is not just a sign of clueslessness but one of profound illiteracy.

In the Buhari’s mind, since Aviation deals with transportation, it should be merged with road and rail transport. And this man has advisers!!

This is a shame. Aviation is such a big sector, it forms part of a country's international image and FG has put the final nail in its coffin.

Where's lalasticlala?

The zombies staying true to their name agreed that buhari is doing great and every of his steps and policies are so on point. their only regret is that Nigeria would have been Eldorado by now had it been dasuki didn't dash out all those monies.

they should discard shame and contemptuous acrimony and consult Gej on how to curb the ominous issue, instead of crying

Why won't it crash when most of the investors have since pulled out since having money to invest is now considered a crime.

All the private jets that dominated traffic around our airports have since been pulled out of our airspace .

Hunger awaits the blind zombie
