Wrap the pounded yam in a clear wrap( the one u cover ur food with before microwaving) and put it in d fridge.. When u r ready to eat, bring out from fridge, put on microwave safe plate, heat few mins, turn and repeat until u feel its hot... ... I always use spoon to just turn it before eating....
I hope this helps.....

Best way is to refrigerate it in a plastic wrap.
When you want to eat it you steam it till the heat has gotten to the center then turn with a wooden stick turner.
You can even mix it with new pounded yam and turn or pound .
