[b]A new smartphone just hit the market that claims its battery can last 10 to 15 days without charging.
The Oukitel K10000 is crammed with a 10,000mAh battery, which should hold almost four times the charge of a Samsung Galaxy S6, and five and a half times the charge of the iPhone 6.


A full charge takes about three and a half hours, according to Oukitel, a Chinese gadget maker.

Smartphone software has gotten better at managing apps and programs to conserve battery life over the past few years, but not many manufacturers have upgraded battery capacity itself.

Oukitel says it's doing both.

The K10000 has a "super smart standby" mode, and "intelligent power consumption management," and is the "world's largest battery capacity smartphone," the company claims.

The phone can even be used to charge other devices.

The company says its battery will last two weeks with "normal use," but a spokesman did not immediately respond to request for an explanation of what "normal use" means.

Orders are scheduled to begin shipping on January 21st, 2016

You forgot one very important thing, SCREEN size, your cube talk is about 9 inches in screen size therefore it will consume more power, besides the first generation of iPad lasted for more than 2 days with heavy use yet it had 10 inches screen and about 8000mah battery.
Software and screen size plays a lot in battery consumption...

Bro you cant compare the screen size of your tablet to these wonderful phablet and for the records oukitel don't lie about their specs I use an Oukitel K6000 and it last 6days on standby and 3days plus on very heavy usage so these k10000 will surely last 14-15 days on standby and 7-8 days on heavy usage..anyways m getting the k10000 soon and will make a review

I dont knw why people are condemning these wonderful device when they haven't handle it have used 2 oukitel k6000 both gray and white btw December and now i just gt the last one a week ago and have purchased another 2 for customers offline and they are impressed by the performance speed and crazy battery life..Oukitel dont lie about their spec...and the k6000 last 3days on heavy usage and 6-7days on standby so am sure the k10000 will over perform without lagging...will be dropping a full review of the k6000 son and then the k10000

@tivta and @warrenweste,I agree it depends on the screen size.I still stand by my assertion that no 10000 mah phone,that has internet connectivity can last for 10 days on a single charge.Except you don't use it to browse,game or run applications like whatsapp and bbm.Outikel may not lie about their specs,but the claim of the battery lasting 10-15 days seems rather far-fetched.

yes the 15days they talked about is for standby and receiving calls not for browsing ,but on heavy browsing it will do 7-10days

Errm,they should have specified it.I see many people working on the impression that the phone lasts 10-15 days on a single charge..'Standby' wasn't mentioned anywhere.
