After reading through posts and comments from
various blogs, news agencies etc. in respect to
Nigerian Politics, one is constrained to voice out an
opinion: Contrary to some views, PMB is doing a fine job so far or at least, is pointing Nigeria towards the right direction. Nigeria's most critical need now is to fight corruption from its grassroot. We need all hands on deck at this crucial period to banish this
menace to the Bermuda Triangle. The economy will
not grow if goats keep eating our hard earned yams.
How can a bucket with large holes contain water? Prudence demands one to first of all seal the holes
before putting it under a tap to fetch water. If these
goats are not caged or 'slaughtered' they'll continue
to have a swell ride on the economy of the Nation.
The resultant effect is no net or at most stunted economical growth. The foundational problem is not
with the dwindling oil price, it is with the goats that
have roamed and are still roaming freely on our
farms. Though the War Against Corruption may
appear one sided to some, one thing is clear and that is 'Attempt is being made to crush corruption and its tolerance is progressively tending towards zero'. Though the economic policies that are presently in effect may not appeal to our various pools of opinion, let's support our amiable President in this noble conquest by offering only constructive criticisms that may hopefully eventuate in positive returns rather than wailing unnecessarily. The bucket will soon be full of water and running over once the holes are sealed. By God's grace, we will get there.
