still on the hunt for a good heat protector. currently using John Frieda Frizz-Ease Heat Defeat Protective Styling Spray also done with it, but im tempted to try the CHI 44 Iron Guard Thermal Protection Spray though. have you used any good one?

Im good grin

I dont really use a flat iron on my hair so Im not that into heat protectants. Most I use is the Aphogee Green Tea fo my rollersets. Love it

I heard RedKen's Smooth Glide is REALLY good though

I don't really use heat on my hair anymore but when I did, I tried Tresemme Heat tamer spray and Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum (which were both just ok, IMO) but mostly used Nexxus Heat Protexx which I thought was really good (I suck at doing my hair but even a hairstylistically-challenged person like myself managed to get nice, healthy-looking results with the Nexxus).

I've heard people rave about Fantasia IC Heat Protector too, though I haven't used it myself.

Re: Recommend Hair Products by Nobody: 7:43am On Jul 24, 2010
Someone here has GOT to be Nikos' Cousin. Stretching? Cantu Shea Butter? Roux Porosity Control? Yes, so reveal yourselves please grin lol.

Back on topic:

1.) Cantu Shea Butter Leave-In lol. I used to have issues with breakage but this product has stopped it dead in its tracks. If I see breakage again, that usually means it's time for me to wash my hair and apply it again lol. I only use it on wet hair.

2.) Neutrogena Triple Moisture Split-End Mender. I'm not sure whether or not this product gets rid of split ends entirely, but the product is somewhat sticky so I'm assuming it binds the split ends together and makes the hair more manageable. This product should be used on wet hair as well. I didn't have success using it on dry hair is it was really gummy and was more of a sticky mess rather than a binding product. This product truly smoothens the ends cheesy

For the person that posted the Moroccan oil treatment, which store carries those or is it only available online. I use all shea moisture products and coconut oil, Moroccan argan oil, rosemary oil with castor oil for the best results and of course hello hydration herbal essence shampoo. I have really kinky hair and it shrinks like crazy so i use them with twist outs or braid outs too.
