Just got a call from dangote that I have been selected for the trainee programme but I have gotten a job already from another reputable company just this month June. I will likely forgo this of dangote gets offer. I am grateful to God for giving me two job offers in a space of one month. I wish you guys taking the trainee job offer at dangote all the best. obobocee: Heard most of the past gets graduates have not been absorbed till now but that does not mean that there is no hope for the prospective gets. There is future at dangote since they are expanding. For me, where I am now is so much better. Wish the lucky person that will take up my slot all the best. We will all meet at the top. 3 Likes |

Please before people start getting misconceptions.. Dangote is actually a great place to start, so let's not get it twisted. From what I gathered before the screening then (not confirmed tho), the pay is good, even at the trainee level, it's better than some bank pay. Heard trainee around 80k (with accommodation taken care of, in form of an hostel), then from 120 above or so, when absorbed. So who ever gets it and is currently doing nothing or doing something you don't like, grab it with 2 hands o... Its one of the way to start am engineering career.... Just felt like saying this before anyone who comes in to see everyone saying they have something better start to think it isn't good. It's actually very good... Wish everyone luck again.. 2 Likes |

josephjuwon75: I didn't reply the mail sent to me to confirm my availability and readiness for the training because I have gotten a job already. So no further communications on the resumption date was sent to me, I don't know when they are resuming. To those taking the trainee offer, make good use of the opportunity, though employment is not guaranteed after the training. Wish you guys all the best. |
