This is could be the virus undergoing mutation. The virus is rapidly spreading; new territories, carriers, regions. Possible mutation of its genome(RNA or DNA). Zika virus is a zoonotic disease. Besides, there isn't any clear consensus about the possible transfer through sexual intercourse.
