This is where the late paramount ruler of the Tivland Dr. Alfred Akawe Torkula was buried today, this place is set aside for the burial of only the Tor Tiv's. Other four late Tor Tiv have been buried here, anytime a Tor Tiv dies, all the tombs are usually renovated. See more photos of the tomb below... Glorifying the rich dead while the living poor continue to wallow in their poverty. Of what sense does it make, using state fund to sponsor funeral and even renovating the tombs of some rotten bones while civil servants within same state are languishing in pain as a result of no pay. one day in hundreds or thousands of years to come, people wont be uncertain who was buried here...... I can imagine this was how they marked the tomb of many great men and women in the ancient days and today people even doubt their existence cos they cant find any traces.... Like many egyptian kings, we aint even certain which corpse/mommy is which tomb anymore...... In short, the legacy you lay down and how much you dedicate to the service of humanity is the only way to immortality....
