Hello NL. I do need help on this quotation. Is the work man ship, cement prix etc not too expensive ? The person I was using to build before has relocated to Lagos. I have been using this man for some time now. He is nice but i am not too sure if the prices he gave me is not too high. And i dont know if the price is based on the quality of the materials. Please help if you have anything to suggest /add.

Also sharp sand is not needed for plastering and I doubt if you will need up 50 bags of cement to plaster the whole flat. Labour for bricklayers is charged at 3,000 naira per day and the labourers that assist them get 1,500 per day. I don't see why your total labour cost should be more than 30k for the plastering depending on how many days it will take to get the job done.

The cost of transport is already built into the cost of the sand and he doesn't need to buy any fuel.

My brother, they can give you any price once they know u are abroad. As if money isn't worked for here. Am sure u have paid more than normal price before this level. A friend advise me to sick advice to be sure HE is not cheating too much. Am coming home to complete and put it on rent. I would have prefared to be there. Since I wont stay too long there wont be enough time to finish it. That's why I wanted him to start up before I come. I will send u mail now.

I live in lagos, I also have a place in Ondo State(I actually have a project im supervising presently in Ondo town). Our kind of job isn't based on location, we have the habit of moving around in line with where the job is coming from.

it is very important to mix sharp sand with plaster sand, u should know why if u are a builder.

I am really sorry for the mix up, I actually thought it was a three bedroom flat.

3bedroom flat + 2bedroom and BQ i think it average .

And get a property agent to take care of collecting rent, otherwise na story go enter. I just only manage to evict a tenant, costing 15k legal fees. 7 months rent gone.

With the way Naira is falling, 1 Euro might be 600 Naira by end of July. More Naira in your pocket.
