Hi everyone,

We currently have a 5 month old male GSD (Bruno) who is quite aggressive ...just the way we want it. However, we are considering getting a CO as a companion for him.
Considering the aggressive nature of the CO breed and the fact I have never owned two dogs at a time before, I really need advice on how best to ensure both dogs get along just fine.
Any tips will be appreciated.
Cheers!

Good to know, however, did you get both as puppies i.e the same time or did you bring the second dog months after the first?
The reason I'm asking is my GSD is 5months and the CO I intend to get is roughly around 8weeks old.I just want to be certain if there are steps to take to integrate the CO into our home.

Hi...i'm back again... My 9week old Caucasian (Zeus) has finally arrived yesterday and my GSD (Bruno) just wont stop trying to attack Zeus.I had actually read plenty things online about introducing a new dog and getting the dogs to "get along"..none is working so far...Bruno's back hairs stand and he viciously attacks.... While Zeus completely ignores him.

Ive never seen Bruno this wild before and it took alot of patience and firm commands to snap him out of his trance.I just started early this morning and seriously doubt i can make progress with the level of aggression im seeing from Bruno.
Except I can get some tips that actually work here...I'm definitely going to need someone to help me fix this. The funny thing is another male CO will be on the way very soon...Any tips or referalls will be highly appreciated.
I should add that Bruno is not usually dog aggressive...he's only known to be aggressive to strangers and even when that happens it's easy to get him under control.
