With the number of car sales on this forum and the improved knowledge we all now have about autos and vehicles, I guess it is imperative to exchange ideas on how best and where to fix little or major issues on our vehicles.
Vehicles in the last 12-15 years have grown in specs., design and details that our so-called Mechanics have found it difficult to cope with the new knowledge base. Poor diagnosis and wrong judgement has led to tales of woes from many vehicle owners.

Aside the main major auto-manufacturers & service centres; If you currently use a garage/mechanic with a high knowledge of issue resolution, good customer service and high integrity, please share with others.
Suggested mechanic/auto garages should include enough details needed as a guide e.g

Also, if you have tips/issues on your vehicle and need to share your experience, pls do so here too.

e.g. Make sure that fuel tank cap is turned to close with a min. of 3 clicks after you refuel.
This may prevent your Service Engine/Maint Regrd/Check Engine Light to come one.
A poorly closed tank cap affects the pump pressure and/or oxygen sensors.
