The National Coordinator of Oodua Peoples ‘Congress. OPC, Otunba Gani Adams has called on the Chiefs of Benin Kingdom to desist from distortion of history which is capable of upsetting the socio- cultural chord of brotherhood between the children of Oduduwa and the Week the great
Otunba Adams who made this observation in response to the lingering controversy stoked by a purported claim of the origin of Yoruba churned out by a Chief from the palace of Oba of Benin .said that “such poorly researched, lacking in historical credibility could be inflammatory and set the two nobles race against each other .
He pointed out that the relationship between the Yoruba Omo Oduduwa and the Edo is rooted in history which is shrouded in mystery in other to keep the two vibrant nations together and oil the chord of communal relationship for ever .

We have said it severally and we are saying it that this matter can be put to rest forever if and only if the Oba of Benin can come out and categorically state that He is not from the House of Oduduwa.
End of discussion.
A drunk Chief that is not a royalty cannot know more than the throne. Let us hear from the horse's mouth itself.

Super1Star:Look at this Yoruba coward calling a Benin chief drunk!
You better re-direct your frustration to your confused and ignorant Alake because he started all this shit.
What the Benin chief said should be embraced by all Yoruba leaders who before now believed oduduwa fell from the sky. who in this modern times would hold on to such fable?....Yoruba people should wake up and embrace their roots and thank the Benin chief for helping them find it.

Another deluded of our Bini subjects misyarning again.
Whether you like it or not, your revisionism has failed.
The undeniable fact remains your throne is ours, your crown is ours and your title is ours
Whatever that crown owns is ours, including YOU and your drunk Chief. Deal with it.
Look for your lost son under the ocean or in the land of Igalas that were always waging war against you

Cry us holy water.
Your Oba suddenly became dumb when confronted with undeniable facts. Guess what, he has nothing to say.
Alake has spoken and Ooni has spoken. If you are embittered, Find your way to Hague.
For now, the throne crown and title of Benin is our lineage and there is NOTHING none of you can do about it. Were you not the ones that sent emissaries to our spiritual headquarters through your Uzamas, begging us to come around to colonise you and bring our peace to your chaotic and tumultuous Kingdom.
The Oba owns his own subjects. We own the Oba. Therefore we own you, inclusive of you this simpleton.

Son of a land grabber, I can see your stupidity is without inquiry and your reasoning capacity is inferior to that of an embryonic cockroach.
It is very obvious why you and your inferiority-overwhelmed south west kings wants to claim the Great Benin kingdom. One of the greatest kingdom to ever exist in Africa. But one thing is sure, you and your kings are on a futile mission.
One word of advice to the Alake with the diarrhea mouth, your inferior ooni and you, the online foot soldier. It would be a good course if you can channel at least ten percent of the energy used in this futile mission of claiming the Benin kingdom in freeing yourselves from the shackles and chains of slavery from the Arewa people. It is a common fact that the yorubas are cowards and wouldn't mind being slaves to the Hausas. This is exemplified in the current political scenario of the country where every region is currently uncomfortable with the current situation of things. But what do we get from the Yorubas, cowardice fused with slavery. Anything the Arewa people command, becomes your wish.
You can't come out and free yourself from the shackles of the Arewas yet you want to claim Benin which has been known as a great and fearless kingdom. We controlled everything around us, we ruled many Yoruba States and all your fake obas dear not utter any word of contempt without paying dearly for it. Thanks to the Europeans who made this country what it is today, the head of that your Alake would have been swaying left and right in a nearby shrine in obedience to the laws of simple harmonic motion.
Your ooni would have been languishing in prison.
Once again please use this energy to free yourself from your slavemasters.
