The OP is correct. Odunlade Adekola and Mosun are from Ekiti State. Odunlade was born and brought up in Abeokuta but his father is from Ekiti. Mosun Filani was born in Ibadan before going for her NCE in Abeokuta, Her father is a lecturer from Ekiti. I know both of them very well because they came up together from the same theatre caucus in Abeokuta under Dimeji Ijaduade and Late Alasari.

There are so many great people from Ekiti- Scholars, lawyers, businessmen, Celebrities, etc. but Ekiti is the only state in the SW that has majority of her indigenes live in Lagos, Ibadan, Akure, Ilorin etc rather than the state; this is due to most of them being educated early and sought greener pastures elsewhere. Hence the confusion.
However, Ekitis can easily be identified by their intelligence, bluntness (to some stubbornness), structure- many are fair, tall and most especially their penchant for equity, education and their delicacy pounded yam.

Stop saying what you do not know , Sade and Hakeem Olajuwon are from Ekiti , like me , they were initially from Ondo before the creation of Ekiti state but their home towns and LGA now fall within Ekiti state.
