This is the way to go.

Encourage agriculture by providing ready market for the farm produce.

Establishing food processing companies with in turn guarantee food security.

If every state in Nigeria specialize in cultivate two or three farm produce, tell me how Nigeria will not export agricultural produce in large quantities.

Lets leave tribal sentiments and embrace peaceful coexistence.

This is an Igbo man that is thinking and not a useless IPOB youth

Rather than complain, he is looking at the bigger picture. In a few years time, when his tomato business turns into a multi billion empire, IPOB youths will start calling him efulefu

Importation is banned. Get used to it. No matter the noise you make on Twitter and facebook , Bubu won't listen to you

God bless Mazi Odinaka

And somebody will tell me that this country will never succeed? Either you are part of the change or the wind of change will sweep you off.

But everything is in Lagos and it is not healthy. Other states needs to have a good sea port so that this industries can be sighted in their state

Another foolish Igboman goes to develop and enrich SOUTH West. Don't even tell me about nearness to raw materials (Economics 101), as there are no tomato farms in Lagos. There are no motor raw material parts in Anambra/ Enugu, yet Innoson is producing from there. So there is no excuse for Umeofia.

These types of Umeofia Igbos - and there are millions of them- are doomed until they start asking why other rich private Nigerians are not investing in Igboland as they (these Igbos) do in other parts of Nigeria.

More of this needed, there's no reason why Nigeria should be one of the largest producers of tomato, yet we import most of our tomato paste. It's really sad.

I agree with you Igbos on this one, he could have easily sited this in the east to create jobs/revenue, access to raw materials couldn't have been an excuse on this one. But even at that, you have no right to insult him, it's his money and it's his call. I'm sure he has his reasons. Learn to live and let others live.

The man is a pure efulefu, he is hated even by his own people due to his fuulishness & stup!dity. Respected & dignified Igbos like Innoson, Chikason, Tonimas, Ibeto etc have seen the bigger picture & are investing at home but this selfish & irresponsible man built such industry in D same place they threatened him with lagoon drowning! How many have Dangote, Otedola or other Yorubas built in the East? Imagine if he had built that at Nnewi, Onitsha Or Aba as other sensible Igbos did! Just like Zik, he choose to love his enemies while they plan to kill him! Id!otic man.
