Hello house, I just got my payoneer card. Please what bank ATM has the best rate, and what is the charge per transaction. Thank you.

Use First Bank, Access or FCMB.

I usually don't have the time to calculate rate.

For every 20k withdrawn, you will be charged $60 dot something.

There is a flat charge of $3.15 on every transaction, so the lesser the amount you withdrew, the higher your rate would seem.

Much as it took two weeks to reflect, I finally got the credit alert. Yes, I am elated!

Basically, the exchange rate is $1=#360, and First Bank didn't charge ONE NAIRA.

I know some of you already know this, but I felt like sharing this information here because I am happy and many others may never know this was possible.

Payoneer charged me $15 for the transfer though.

So, exchangers and ATM withdrawals are not really necessary if you are moving huge funds

Apparently, some FBN-Payoneer transactions are not fast.

Just stay patient; your money will drop.

Mine took about two weeks.

Yours may not be that far.

Just send First Contact an email to lodge your complaint...I think they are more helpful.

One thing is certain though, you are dealing with "trusted third parties," so your money is safe.

Just PM me, I will respond.

Sorry but no school IDs or voters cards allowed if it's not a driver's license, international passport or National ID (the NIN slip doesn't qualify either) you aren't getting in. New rules put in place recently because of the abuse of their easy signup since before 2016. Go get any of those IDs asap.

I got a notification via email that I made a withdrawal to payoneer MasterCard, thought the funds were suppoed to be credited to my payoneer e-wallet?

I am not a pro. However, I will explain how my Payoneer account works.

From my knowledge of the cross-border payment solution, you need to have their prepaid MasterCard before you move funds. Perhaps the system has changed, but I opened my account in 2016, so that's how it works.

Payoneer funds don't just exist in a vague ecosystem; they are loaded on prepaid cards. This means that you must have a card before you are able to do transfer and withdraw to banks. Again, this is a personal experience.

If your account doesn't have a card yet, you may place an order for a card. In a few days, they will send you a notification, informing you that your card is ready. I didn't pay a dime to have my first Payoneer card delivered on my doorstep in 2016.

But when I requested for a replacement, I had to pay $13 or so to have it shipped through Nipost. I won't advise anyone to follow that process because it's crazy.

There's an alternative, where you will use DHL and pay $40. While the former takes roughly 15 days or more, the latter happens in less than 7 days.

Finally, I wish to confirm you that First Bank didn't charge me a DIME when I performed the first Payoneer-Nigerian-savings-account withdrawal. And I will do another transaction by Monday. Hopefully, I will share with you how it went.

I wish to appeal to some of us here who have been into freelancing for a while to voluntarily share crucial information with other members.


The fact of the matter is, most of us are new to this space. To add insult to injury, we don't see one another physically. So, don't withhold any information that may help us in this group.
