The only thing we know is that democracy would have been introduced earlier in Nigeria and the debilitating military regime would have ended sooner. Let's face it, during the Abacha regime, there was no progress or development whatsoever in Nigeria.

So the question is, how do you think we will be now if IBB didn't annul that election ? Will we be on the path that China and India are on right now?, Abiola was a very capitalist individual and would have encouraged private sector participation and involvement which could have led to development and better wealth distribution. We do know for a fact that the annulment put us 20 years back, roads deteriorated and this treasury looting reached epic proportions and created an elite class who are not interested in the needs of the common man. The wealth that was shared amongst the elite class during that regime is what is being used to run for elections now and acquire more wealth. IBB sent us into a vicious cycle I believe which we will not recover from anytime soon.

How will we be if that man from Niger, Chad or wherever (because I doubt he is Nigerian) didn't undermine our democractic system? Will we be the same as we are now? Will we be better off?, What do you think?

In all propabilities we would have make some progress in the right direction even though there is no guarrantee.

I just think that IBB set Nigeria back at least 20 years or more. It also show how the military people think. Since these set of IBB kind of people knows the history of Nigeria and importantly the Army and it's strenght they knew they could get away with anything in their own opinion.

What IBB and peope like him and to some extent OBJ has never seriously factor in is GOD who does not chase before arresting you, who does not negotiate or can he be 'settled'

When God will come, according to the bible 'he will come like a thief in the night'.

EVEN if you think GOD is taking long to come, ask ABACHA. He died like a chicken.

For every evil leader in Nigeria, they wil die like chicken and may DOG eat their flesh and peace of the Lord to depart from them

Nigeria will rise and shine whether or not all the enemies who say they are nigerians but which we all know are 'desert import' like it or not.

LONG LIVE NIGERIA. MAY GOD BLESS ALL OF US WHO ARE ON THE SIDE OF GOOD

Nigeria would have been ruled by a thief who robbed the masses and tried to fool us by giving back through philantropy, either way i would've taken the lesser evil.

What was evil about Abacha?

So, MKO was a capitalist that would have brought in investors, the type that provided telephony in Nigeria - ITT?

Abeg, make person hear word.
