Price- per module =#1500 and per ton =#300k
Location = ogbomoso, oyo state.

Sourcing it directly from the local farmers are a big problem this year as they are inflating the price day by day.
This year cashew season na action film. May God help us o.

The cashew dealers are the major cause of price rises because they have gave out more cash flow to the local farmers, now they are finding it very difficult to control the price unlike before, now the local farmers now control the price at will.

in kwara, price is #260k per tonne for 2016 RCN. 30tonnes trucks are loading daily. over 400tonnes available as i speak, If you are buying or have a buyer. 09095500809

One need to be careful this year cos of the price they are starting with. My wife started with #1000 per module but they are now buying it from farmers at the rate of #1500.

You guys should be careful the way you buy at ridiculous high prices, compare your prices with other neighbouring countries with high demand such as cote d voire, Ghana and Benin their prices isn't this high , except you want to buy and store . Imo, buying a tonne of cashew for 300k is way to high when international market sells about that price. We spoke with someone in Ghana and he was willing to sell $900/MT convert that to naira and see what I'm talking about....stop hyping cashew export, they are other commodities that will give you better ROI.

I knew the unnecessary hike in prices wasn't sustainable because the international prices aren't fluctuating like ours. We need to be very careful when rushing to buy these things in anticipation of future rise in prices, to avoid the same problems of speculation we're having with the Naira-Dollar exchange rates.

Lovely contributions. Lets hope the price will be properly regulated after flag up on the 29th of February 2016. FG needs to stop the outrageous hike considering international mkt price. Call me for trade brokerage, sourcing for products and foreign buyers.

U are very right broo ,I wonder what would be the fate of cashew this coming season ..the hype is just too much,imagine bought at the rate of 370/MT last season crop ..when better commodities have got good ROI ...well its a all balls down to ur deal with international buyer ....Still on still I believe sesame seed,cocoa are still profitable
