Few days after news filtered into the Nigerian media space that the once celebrated union between talented comedian cum actor, AY Makun and his wife of many years, Mabel Makun has crumbled, the latter has broken her silence.

Mabel Makun dispelled the tales of a crashed marriage after she posted the below image of herself and AY Makun on photo sharing app, Instagram. She captioned the photo: “@aycomedian #mancrusheveryday”.

You will recall that AY also released a statement via his official Instagram handle where he quashed reports that his marriage has hit the rocks.
Also, popular OAP, Freeze released an open letter on social media where he threw his weight behind the comedian saying “I sincerely hope and pray that what I am hearing is false”.

When couples in the name of being celebrities are more interested on putting up a fake front on social media than building the foundations and substance of their homefront. I remember how monalise chinda was in her first marriage constantly posting 'loving pix' and messages of her and her hubby almost on a daily basis till the marriage crashed and the gory details that followed showed that they never really had a day of peace nd love.
So why the media facade? Personally,if I see a woman or man constantly brodcasting her love or relationship for the world to see(especially when they live in the same house),I get worried.

In every rumour there's an element of truth. Kathrine obiang denied everything in 2007/2008. Now frank edoho is remarried. How long would all these charade of marriages last? Am not freaked by romantic photos on social media again.

Lol! This is a classic case of 'When the owner of the head says she no get headache'

But then she deleted her IG account, removed Makun from her name. And it took all of 4 days to deny?
