I'm in the market for a laptop, not just any laptop but a fairly decent one with gaming specsm

When I go through price lists of new laptops on jumia and co, average specs like 2 gig ram, etc go for prices that are just around my budget.

The UK/US used counterparts on the other hand have amazing specs like 8gig ram, Intel a5, a3 being for prices close to my budget.

Hence the thread.
What exactly are the disadvantages of buying UK/US used laptops?

Warranty issues, and if you aren't a tech savvy individual you might end up buying crap for a high amount.

It depends on where you get the UK/US used PC, Just make sure the seller is reliable, so that you would not buy a refurb. or scrap as uk/us used. MOST IMPORTANTLY, BUY FROM SELLER WITH RETURN WARRANTY, So as to return if an fault is latter observerd.
