The court cases are ongoing.

Monies and assets are being recovered.

Buhari is not responsible for the court procedures that delay cases. Case Study: Tell Saraki to stop delaying his own trial and defend the allegations lodged at the CCT.

Besides, should he go ahead and have the accused executed for corruption, you would then claim he his a dictator.

Despite the legal steps being followed, many like you still cry witch-hunting.

Crying witch-hunting on Sunday, then lamenting there's been no convictions on Monday.

The state of mind of a lunatic anarchist.

Has any case been lost by the government so far?

Does the legal system of Nigeria or any democracy allow the federal government to conclude cases within any duration desired by the executive?

That people have been arrested and are being prosecuted amidst crocodile cries of witch-hunting and "leave our brother alone", isn't that commendable enough? Or are the funds and assets recovered so far not worth anything to you?

Or were you expecting that Jonathan should have been arrested, prosecuted and executed within this past 9months? All of that will certainly happen in due time within the framework of the law.

People like you who remark that "let us hear word joor", are the very people who feel threatened that the culture of corruption that has fed their families is being threatened.

For that reason any president that dares to speak ill of corruption is an enemy.

What exactly are your expectations as regards convictions?

That 20 cases only started in a 9months administration would have attained conviction status?

Buhari is being blamed by your ilk for even daring to prosecute the calibre of accused presently undergoing trial, terming him a dictator. Yet you still blame him for allowing the law courts undergo the legitimate judicial process in arriving at justice?

I ask again, has the government lost any of the corruption cases in court?

Where is your conscience you wretched enemy of the state?

This system has been bastardized too long. For now we are OK with arresting the criminals and locking them away, then recovering their loots. Since corruption has decided to fight back by bribing the Judiciary, PMB's modus operanda is spot on! Like dasuki, like metuh, like dokpesi, like Patrick, like haliru bello, like dilector, ignore the Judiciary, drain them for at least 2 weeks, and set their bails at 400 million! We are OK with that for now, the rest is left to the corruption ridden Judiciary.

Who cares whether they are jailed? Just lock them up for 2 weeks and set their bail at 400 million. We are cool with that for now! Criminals!

And how many were jail for corruption during the nearly 6 year rule of your hero?
Is Buhari the Judge that would jail accused people? If Buhari should interfere with the judiciary, you haters would scream blue murder. In Nigeria ordinary civil cased go on for years if not decades, and you expect Buhari to force convictions in corruption cases in less than 9 months.

Wail all you want, Buhari would complete his term and possibly complete a second term.

Oho, I taught the president was responsible for everything from allegation, investigation trial and conviction of accused persons. Yeye, the previous admin's sin was how many did he convict? Same must be applied to the current govt!
Anti corruption is not an emotional or personal crusade of the president but, a slow and thorough systemic fight!
This govt is just hot air and propaganda!

No offense bro, but at this twenty first century it could take lesser time to get a conviction with the right evidence and court processes in place. True they are mostly crimes that bails can be granted but the defendant can make plea bargain behind close doors to protect the integrity of the 'Office'

What we have experienced so far is a systematic display of relevance by different anti graft agencies without due process, evidence collation and coordination, worst of all relying on moral conviction as a tool for cheap propaganda.

I thought PMB would've used the secret police who are no longer secret of course, efcc, NIA, SIB, SFU to build his case and then have the attorney general's office to persecute accordingly. All these half baked raids and arrest ridicule the judicial process and our security apparatus.

The president is not supposed to have anything to do with convictions, that is the responsibility of the judiciary. The sins of the previous government was not how many convictions they got, it was how many prosecutions they pursued. The " stealing is not corruption" philosophy did not allow for many investigations and prosecutions, if any.

First plea bargains are not in our Laws, secondly a plea bargain entails the accused pleading guilty for a lighter sentence. In Nigeria, nobody accepts responsibility for crimes, we always look for excuses. Even at that Buhari has provided a form of plea bargain to suspected corrupt people - "return stolen mony and go scot free ", some people like Nduka Obiagbena has taken the plea bargain and returned some of the money and promised to return the rest, but some stubborn people like Dokpesi and Metuh has vowed to fight to the end. What else do you want Buhari to do?

Even in the Advanced world with sophisticated police and judiciary, criminanal cases take more than 1 year to conclude, that is even after investigations are concluded and the case is taken to trial. In Nigeria and other developing countries with archaic Judiciary and investigative bodies, criminal cases take years (sometimes decades).

The previous admin's sin is whether any allegation was ever investigated, talkless of arrest or prosecution.

Was any minister culpable in any form of corruption sacked, talkless of arrest.

Did Jonathan need the courts to sack his own ministers?

OBJ had Sunday Afolabi and Akwanga sacked and prosecuted over the Sagem national ID card scandal. Tafa Balogun was sacked and prosecuted and convicted.
Prof. Fabian Osuji was sacked and prosecuted for bribing the Senate President Wabara who demanded bribe to pass Education ministry budget. Mrs Ojomo was sacked from the housing ministry concerning how she handled the 1004 estate crisis. Prof. Aborishade was sacked because of 2 plane crashes that was not his fault.

Yar'Adua had Prof. Adenike Grange of health ministry sacked and prosecuted. Bode George was sacked and prosecuted and convicted.

Jonathan had Oduah, no sack or prosecution, but let go in a cabinet reshuffle many months after the BMW saga. Jonathan had Abba Moro, no sack so he went ahead to spend the money realised from the NIS recruitment on houses in prime locations. Instead Sanusi was sacked for informing the president that NNPC was not earning as much money as was accrued.

The previous admin's sin was that it suffered from ineffectual buffoonery.

This administration has started arresting criminals who were the sacred cows of the buffoonery regime. Monies and assets have been recovered.

Yet the same set of people who have been chanting witch-hunting are now asking why there's been no conviction in 9months, while still defending the previous administration that ruled for 5years.

All these cases in court will be dragged till 2019 and be used to bargained for electoral support or wing clip of the victims.
Evidences shld surface now and let them be sentenced if guilty.

You are very correct my brother. How can we secure convictions when people refuse to submit themselves for prosecution. Imagine Dasuki saying he is not ready for trial and Saraki dribling everybody to evade trial and subsequent conviction. Their lawyers are the ones giving them the boldness. Even Lamorde's lawyer has asked him not to show up. Please, those people screaming no convictions should direct their salvos to the judiciary. Their antics are responsible for the so called zero convictions.

There's ample evidence to the extent that the paper trail has implicated many people as regards the Dasuki saga.

Badeh, Amosu and Adigun already have hundreds of millions recovered by the EFCC in it's official statement on that case, while assets that shouldn't ever accrue to such senior public servants have already been seized.

Saraki's case is done and dusted, hence Saraki's prevarication with the court proceedings. Rickey Tarfa will certainly soon become a Senior Convict of Nigeria.

So evidence is not a problem, the procedures of law do not change even in the 22nd century, and Buhari has no authority to autocratically change judicial procedures as regards the rights of the accused to a fair trial.

Lots of trails no doubt, like I said have they actually 'made' their case? Maybe the term I'd use in secret negotiations instead of plea bargain. We have cash in accounts, frozen true but recovered; I am not aware.
