I came across this post yesterday. "FG makes French studies compulsory for Nigerian students" (link: https://www.naij.com/715240-stop-press-buharis-minister-added-one-compulsory-subject-nigerias-curriculum.html)

MY OPINION
In a multi-ethnic country like Nigeria, french should have been scrapped. Nigeria has serious problems in terms of tribal disagreements. Learning French is a good idea but I think it should be replaced with our three major languages. I think it can promote unity between the tribes in the country. Learning the languages can ensure efficient interaction and understanding between different societies and tribes in the country. Thus reducing the possibilty of quarrels and wars.

What do you think?
Don't mind my grammars.
