To cut the long story short, Ibinabo was yestersay handed 5 year imprisonment for her dangerous and reckless driving that ended the life of Dr Suraj Giwa on Lekki Ajah Expressway.

After over 3 months in a coma, Suraj Giwa gave up the ghost on the 6th of February 2006.

The ex-AGN President burst into tears after the judgement was delivered to her.

The family of late Doctor Giwa were full of smile as the beauty queen was sent to jail.

Eyah!!! this is too much for her.

so she thought that because she is a celeb she will escape the law?NEVER!!!!

10 years on, the case is still in court with the possibility of it being stretched further in the supreme court. Such a pitiable justice system!!

Our judicial system is nothing but trash! Imagine event that befell in 2006, hmmm na wa for this country.

She didn't 'kill' him...it was inadvertent: Manslaughter
She should see this sentence as one to purify her conscience (Penance). She should stop fighting it already . This man had dependents

Naturally, one would think that this case would be an easy one, with judgement delivered in 6 months max. The ability of lawyers to drag cases and prolong retention fee payments is worthy of note. Ibinabo, I commiserate with thee.

She was drunk, this doctor is the second person she's killing and his family really stood strong In seeking Justice.

She killed someone who has dependants and all she keeps saying is manslaughter and she stretched the case for almost 10yrs because she has money and fame even went all the way to contest for AGN presidency....

No remorse at all.

Let the supreme Court decide
