1.Love makes the brain get a little ‘OCD’

According to LiveScience, the level of the brain chemical serotonin is lowered by love. This drop is the cause of obsessive-compulsive disorders which explains why people in love show so much concentration on the object of their affection and causes them to be blind to their partner’s faults and focus on their good qualities.

 2. Love works on the brain like a drug

The part of the brain responsible for the feelings of attraction is also the same part that responds to pain killers such as morphine.


3. Hormones are out of control

According to LiveScience, lust, attraction and attachment are the three phases neuroscientists have divided love into. Hormones fill the body with intense desire, the heart race and palm sweat due to adrenaline and norepinephrine, the feeling of euphoria is created by dopamine which is what the brain releases during pleasure of any kind.
