Are you tired of the proverbial 'A' is for God talk from your lecturer. If yes; why not grade them. From Google type their surname and search. You will see academics association that your lecturer subscribe to e.g 1. Research gate 2.Google scholar citation 3. Academics. If he is not a member of all this above and others Hmmmmmm  ??.If he is a member check his h-index. With this you will know if he is just receiving salary or out to make a difference. |

It depends on what you want to measure them on. It is unfortunate that we don't know the expectations from our lecturers in that, we are not privy to if they are lecturers or professors in the making. Lecturers are not required to undertake research but those towing the line of professorship are. In essence, we might be biased judging them. |
