I still don't understand why the discrimination btw poly students and univ students....does it mean Poly is nt and tertiary institution or what?

You definitely would understand the reason behind the discrimination.

Both are tertiary institutions but on different ground levels. While the university is said to be more standardized with academic learning, the polytechnic was strictly created for technical and applied pedagogy. The Nigerian polytechnic can also be viewed as a failproof for aspiring university candidates. All the same, real learning progresses as life continues. To living and learning

the polytechnics in d Uk were converted to universities in the 90s. we should do same. with d level of discrimination pple still attend poly. mehn i wud rather stay at home nd learn a trade
