The Signpost summarizes the muco-purulent,decadent, abysmal and lethargic prognosis which has befallen our educational sector. If this house which is supposed to be domiciliary of astute and above par intelligentsia cannot put up a grammatically correct signpost, I am then pondering the chasm between the inhabitants of such structure and mama Sikiru that resides behind my abode.

The issue with our education system is not the "not so obvious " mistake, it is you the unassuming fool that purports Typoglycemia as an issue of education.

Ofcourse the sign post should not have such error but YOU!!!! picking up the issue as excuse to bash the educational system is the bleeping RETARD

look up Typoglycemia and rid yourself of your ignorance

This isn't Grammatical blunder... It's Typographical error.

OP u are the one making the error, calling a typo a 'shelling'

Leave all these Long story.

If you give out contract, you are duty bound to supervise the job and check it very before pay the contractor .

Are you saying the school authority and all their teachers didn't noticed this error.

Maybe they are all suffering from Combined typo glycemic syndrome

Nay, it is neither typographical error nor grammatical blunder it is a printographical mishap. Look up the word in the original advanced learner dictionary. You won't find it in the fake one oooo.

The sign writer should be held responsible....

Lolz,

But I think the person to be held responsible is the person that gave out the contract.

For not checking to make sure that he/she is getting the value of what s/he paid for.

That nonchalant attitude is what kept naija in this sorry condition.

As for the writer, the chances of being a typo is just 10%, for crying out loud, that was designed, there were some finishing touches, the typo would have been spotted, but he was lazy to correct it, or because he knew too well that the person who gave him the contract wouldn't bother to check it
