Since France Drew and Germany lost to France..shouldn't Portugal still be on second place? Since they won Hungary 3-0, and France defeated Germany 1-0.
So then it should be France, Portugal and Germany third.
Since Portugal is having more goal difference than france
I think they use head to head. That's the only reason I can give for now

Currently I don't think we can lose to any team in the world with such margin

We cannot. Last time was against Spain in confederations cup in 2013. We lost 3-0.

What's the guarantee for his game time, he is better off going to a developmental league like Portugal or France than going to a result obsessed league full of veterans like Turkey, one mistake and he is relegated to the bench and we know Awaziem is as raw as they come

Well I don't blame him I blame his advisors and agents who should know better
After how many years in Europe? Maybe you should put it correctly and say that he's a below average player

I would like to apologize for previously overrating Portugal. But in my defense, no one saw this coming. Football is a very unpredictable sport.
In 2016 they also qualified from their group with 3 points, the only game they played well was the semifinal game against Wales. Tournament football is very unpredictable

No he is not a below average player just that he is prone to mistakes and rash challenges, he is 24 and have never had a stable club in his career, different players develop at different paces

A 24 years old defender with over 5 years of experience at the highest level can't be considered raw again, how old is Saliba, kounde, etc those are the ones you can call raw (and nobody even call them that), a 24 years old defender that is prone to mistakes and lack of concentration isn't good enough. Although he may eventually get better but no proper club will pay money for uncertainty.

If not for him, we would've lost by 5 or more against Argentina in 2010. That guy went above and beyond that day grin

Yes sir!! Best defense in the land. We are even missing a strong defender right now sef. I give all the credit to our coach Kennedy Boboye. What a fine job the man has done.

I doubt he plays tbh. The coach has been using a very short bench. There are people further up in the roster that are not getting playing time.

Everybody grows at their own pace, 24 is still young for a defender if he polishes up his defending in the next 1,2 years then good for him but he needs a club to help him do so

He might just get some garbage minutes...
Let's hope he is fit in time for the Olympics.

Meanwhile, I just found out that there's a rule that prevents NBA players from playing in two international tournaments in the same year for their national teams..that means we won't be having a full squad for both the Olympics and afrobasket. They are 2 weeks apart..
I wonder how the NBBF wanna go about it
