Gerard! What a coach! Olise still needs a lot to learn. He has not even done half of what Iwobi did at Arsenal. It is an insult comparing Eze and Olise to Iwobi and Aribo!

Olise surprisingly doesn't know how to dribble.

He's a player with good creativity and shooting. But by this performance, I don't think he's suited to a wing role.

It pains to see Gerrard get one over Vierra.

I think Nathan Tella had a good game today with some telling crosses. Btw Liverpool would suffer without Salah and Mane, unfortunately their biggest rivals this season are not dependent on African players. Ziyech and Mahrez can go out for 2 years and Chelsea and City would keep on functioning.

I actually don't think Gerrard is doing anything special with this Aston Villa squad.
People tend to forgot that Aston Villa have one of the most expensive squads in the world.

They've spent over 264 million more than Palace since their Arab takeover in 2018.

Yet Palace controlled the game, and Villa's first goal was against the run of play.

Credit to Vierra.

We still need to give kudos to Gerard at least

Getting 6 points from his first 2 games ain’t easy ,Aston Villa have had a bad run of games before he arrived

Onuachu was in match day squad for Dinamo Zagreb game but didn’t play. He is not even in match day squad for their next game this weekend.

Potential move or injury?

Not injury, he's sick and hasn't trained since Thursday.

Yes I agree. But note that he has won both of those games against the run of play.

The only games Vierra have failed to control are the 2-0 win at City and the 3-0 loss at Liverpool.

Vieira is a good coach also and has done so well for crystal palace ,he should keep working hard and he will find him self at a big club despite him being black

If LFC owners get sense, let one of klopp's long standing assistants take over

They have been with him since he came around and embodies same philosophy

Not one English man that will come and buy maddison for 200m and sell salah for 80m

Guardiola don Kuku inspire every club owners to Dey appoint former legends

I agree with klopp one of klopp assistants taking over ,because klopp really did a lot for Liverpool ,the man put in a lot of work

But don’t be surprised for Gerard to get the job ,if Chelsea fit give Lampard chance then Liverpool will surely give Gerard grin
