I promise you, you'll see a different SEs in Russia.

How do these guys expect somebody like Nacho to die on top that ridiculous pitch?

Are you really suggesting that Rohr knew about Nwakali (for instance) just after watching the Atheletico game? We are talking about a guy who spent a lot of resources inviting the German based Osimhen (you know, Nwakali's teammate). If you want to make me believe this, then someone obviously haven't been doing his home work.
From team B to some guys in team B to Nwakali. Okay. Your point has been noted : team B inspires confidence. Team A does not. Even taking Nwakali will not change your mind.

My point: team B is not going to Russia. Team A is.

Conclusion: let's face reality not what should or ought to be.

Why is Rohr risking this guy like this

He should have subbed the guy off since half time. He shouldn't have let him play this long.

I am wondering the same, because the people yapping now, if say dem be Kelechi, dem for no kill themselves before World Cup.

Imagine you have a big contract coming up, then you go and put all your energy on something that isn't even worth 5% of the big contract

Simmy can't play as a Target-Man for the Team, damn he's too soft and easily bullied. He's a good Prospect, but this is not his time.

I wish Rohr plays Lokosa as a Striker at Wembley, i wanna watch him leading the Attack, not playing from the Wing - on a world class Pitch.

Oh Lawd of Eagles...... LMAO! You are very spot on Sir with the bolded, coz only very few Monikers analyze fairly and objectively.

Don't wanna mention Names but I think I should at least mention a particular Moniker that I do enjoy his Analysis the most, maybe because he's a Lawyer.

Another Moniker I do enjoy a lot is a jovial Fellow, but he's mostly on Point too in a comic way. We need to stop hyping our Team and Players to be honest.

All these Remi is balling, chukwudi is balling, bature is balling won't help the Team cos in football individuals don't win Game, Teamwork does.

Spot on

Besides, let me repeat it again,NWAKALI JNR is good enuf to walk in straight into d 23man squad, i no c wetin special for dt MF,WEY Nwakali no fit do And 4 baba forgiveness, JOEL OBI is too average, if he makes d team,it wasn't base in his performance, but d coaching crew having hope dt he would pick up @ d tournament cool

Nwakali had all the time to do what he did against Athletico Madrid in a competitive league but guess what, he couldn't do that in Eredivise.

It's food for thought.

Humility017:

etebo is not an attacking midfielder... playing him in the middle is like giving a dog a bad name...just to get it hanged.

nwakali will even do better in the middle compare to him....
we can't keep shying away from this...we need a good AM some one close to mikel calibre....

Let us see Simy on a better pitch first.. I think, we will see more of a first team against England. Lokosa made a good account of himself but i doubt, he will be among the 23.

See wailing and gnashing of Teeth for what?! On a Pitch like ridges at Ota Farm? LMAO!

Offensively Ola Aina is far better than Echiejile. Moreso, Echiejile with his Experience, would have cost us a one man down with his reckless, career ending Tackle in a competitive Match.

If we can give Excuses for Iheanacho, Etebo and Co for failing to live up to Expectations due to the bad Pitch, why ain't we giving the same Excuse for Aina too?!
Olaoluwa Aina. He learned his Trade on world class Pitches not on Farmland Ridges.

You talk with so much wisdom and understanding.
Ola Aina was far better than echiejiele

He brought out the best of etebo, he was faster and more skillful, he defended better (he had 2 interceptions , echiejile had just one) , his long throws were okay. C'mon , why would anyone pick echiejile over him. I pray rohr sees this too. But anything he says is final. I just feel for ola Aina because he has been so unlucky, y'all need to see him play at his natural position for hull. He's damn good with ball

he should play in the flanks or CM role....if he can't play any of those role...then he should be dropped. for now only mikel and iwobi should get play the 10 role.....

it is so painful that rohr gonna orchestrate his own failure with a wrong selection...in the final watch......

I so much believe in this team. I don't know why? One thing 'm sure of is- they'll deliver. Let the World Cup begin.

They will see sleek and pin-point passes and marvel. The goal is a sign that Rohr and the team are working.

One player that caught my attention today is TRYONNE EBUEHI. That guy is GOOD-NO HYPE. If he can play like that on that ridiculous pitch, I can't imagine what he'll be like in a well trimmed and mowed pitch. No wonder He pocketed Di Maria.

Just Imagine Mikel, Moses, Ighalo and Ndidi coming into the scene. We 'll be unplayable and that's when the Super Eagles will fly and Soar.

Or are you satisfied having Ahmed Musa and Moses Victor as the only natural wingers in the team?

If not, what do you suggest?

Results of friendlies prior to USA 94

Colombia 1 :0 Nigeria
Sweden 3:1 Nigeria
Romania 2:0 Nigeria
Nigeria 5:1 Georgia

Probably our best WC till date.

Results of friendlies prior to France 98,
The long knifes are out just because of one cassava farm friendly

Nigeria 2:2 Jamaica
Germany 1: 0 Nigeria
Yugoslavia 3:0 Nigeria
Holland 5:1 Nigeria

Yet, we beat Spain who had been unbeaten for a long time in the first match

Do not read much into friendlies. Thankfully no social media then.

I agree but we are also looking at individual performances as they could decide who is on the plane.

On the cocoyam farm, we played today, it was always going to be difficult to get passes flowing.
