Those peeps are bigots. They believe their region/regions is/are the only places to find talented players.

Had it been the team is filled up with the aforementioned players from those "na we get talents" region, you no go hear phem because they deserve it.
I just don't know how we missed it,tribal bigotry in football. It doesn't exist before, people don't care where you come from, what they need is good performance and see people going crazy on the street.I will never forget the jubilations after we won 1985 Kodak FIFA U17 WC.

I asked a guy who was fuming about Sadiq.I told him do you know that some Nigerians named their new babies after Kanu just cos of his exploit in Atlanta 96... a neighbor who is a yoruba named her daughter Chioma after Ajunwa heroic feet in Atlanta 96.

I never thought sports would be mixed with tribes.....some pages back on the same Bosso,I asked one who was suspicious of the team list to roll out Nigeria team of Japan 93 and do his research on the team list and feed me back but till now no response.

It was this region of a type argument in players selection that made someone to tell us that there was no south westerner in Nigeria Japan 93 squad and nobody care or even care to know cos there was total love when it comes to sports in the good old days......Big question can it happen in Nigeria of today especially in under age competition that no region would be represented without people pointing accusing fingers on the coach.

I just don't know what is really going on with us especially learned ones who should know best...Sadiq Umar voiced out about peoples sentiment regarding where he comes from, that some believed he made the team being a northerner.

I think we must stop this nonsense. We need to always supporting our coaches irrespective where they come from, truly am not really happy seeing Bosso as U20 coach but NFF said he is the best for the job, nothing more than to support the team.

Sorry to say this, how many of us are watching this guys in Nigeria league to query Ladan Bosso, more reason I do ask BascoVanVeli on Nigeria league cos he is watching the league.

***Pls if our politicians dey craze does that mean we should not get common sense. They used us to achieve their aims.Oh my God,seeing Nigeria youths spending billions of naira on data engaging themselves on tribal war just cos of these thieving politicians.

A good number of our players play regularly for Europe top leagues. A good number are in goal-scoring form

A good number are currently in European tournaments with their clubs.

The Ghanaian side was a very poor one? The Nigerian side was better, abi? You Nigerians are unbelievable grin deluded mudder fuggerx grin
Karlovych:
The Ghanaian side was a very poor one, they were one of the lowest scorers in the group stages. North Macedonia scored 23 goals in the group stages compared to Italy's 13 although the former conceded more.
They had more points tally than Italy as a second placed team although I'll have to admit that Italy were obvious favorites.

No difference between Osimhen's goal and Zlatan's goal at 1:05. If Haaland had scored this that type of goal you'd be drooling.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T8vzkuCLHE8

On the contrary, big difference.

Zlatan had an angle favoring the bottom corner. That means even good keepers would struggle.

Osimhen's was straight down the middle, meaning any decent keeper would have enough time to get across and catch the ball.

BTW, Osimhen scored this exact Zlatan goal against Bayern in pre-season, just so you know.

These stereotypes have always been there amongst us ..even peeps who are supposedly "enlightened" aren't exempted.

That's why a player like Musa who has scored 4 well taken world cup goals is still regarded as a "federal character" candidate in some quarters.

It's funny.

Let's discuss football and put these things aside.

20 yards is just the tip of the semi-circle of the BOX-18

25 yards shot is what is called long range goals.

Even 20 yards sef, where is the video of Haaland scoring such?

And call ups I assume to be unfair well let's watch and see

Na you determine range of long range goals lmao, 18 yards is a long way from goal and anything outside it is already long range, what then determines how good the goal is is the velocity, angle and whether it was a half volley or full volley

This is Haaland's goal and it is the definition of what a lone range goal should look like

THINK PIECE

I think Osimhen would be better off going to Arsenal than Man U, Arsenal is already set up waiting for a striker as the final piece of the puzzle while Man U may still be in a shambolic state despite their appointment of a new manager, one thing I'm sure of is Arsenal will finish above Man U next season

I am not a fan of Bosso. I think there are some better candidates out there. It puts the spotlight more on Pinnick who has kept faith with him.

There should be thorough scouting for our cadet teams and competent coaches to work with the players.

It's shameful how do not have decent players in certain departments of the SE.
