Guaranteed, Aribo is moving to the Premier League this summer, but Forest are not alone. Fulham, Palace are also there, Forest just offered the more salary.

For a player who played the most positions of any Nigerian (alongside Iwobi) over the last two years, I don't think he can flop anywhere.
what about simons rumoured interest from Brighton? Dennis to Everton? And the possibility of bassey leaving rangers for the epl this summer

Don't know about Simon and Bassey, sir, but Everton are not signing Dennis.

Aribo has played LB, CAM, CM, DM, ST, RW, LW over the last two years.

Iwobi has played RWB, LWB, CM, RB, CAM, RW, LW over the last two years.

Versatility.

thanks much, they’ll surely be a relegation candidate I just hope Taiwo can get double digit goals so he wouldn’t have to go down with them

They are doing good business though. Also, historically, playoff teams usually do better than direct teams because the playoffs give more money for transfers.

If they can keep Djed Spence, I think they will survive. Remember, they beat Leicester and Arsenal last season in the FA Cup.

but he flops when Playing for the super Eagles

Aribo has consistently remained one of our best players. I don't know the football you are watching.

He has not been very flashy recently (as Iwobi has been for instance), but he has been precise and kept things compact in his play.

One of our best players, not our best player. Our best player is Osimhen. Ndidi when Osimhen isn't available.

Base on aribo performance in the super Eagles he wouldn't even make top 10 best players

What do you mean by Iwobi being flashy?

Life. Steve Cooper who won the U17 World Cup after Emmanuel Amunike won it in 2015 is coaching Nottingham Forest in the Premier League, while Amunike is still waiting for a good opportunity.

I hope Amunike gets a chance soon.

Life must have a balance soon.

At a time when the Nigerian league began to show gleams of hope, the LMC by their passivity have again messed things up.

Just a few days ago it was reported here the abhorrent behaviour of the Kano United chairman, the LMC however decided to give all 3 points to Kano with a ridiculous financial fine as penalty.

Guess what, something way ridiculous happened today in the game between Remo Stars and Kastina United. Remo Stars equalised to make the game 2-2 in the 90th minute. The Kastina United officials initially disrupted the game stopping play and ending the livestream. Play however continued minutes later.

The game later ended 3-2 in favour of Kastina United. The referee didn't end the game until the got their winning goal at the 34th minute of additional time. Yes, you read that right, 34th minute of additional time.

How do you grow a league of referees are afraid for their lives when officiating? Just sad.

1991. Next was 1995. Was in the form of a Qualifiers tournament but it was knockout format with 2 legs from Prelims/first round to a final round. Featured 8 teams.

1998 was the first edition in its current group stage format of 8 teams before expansion to 12 teams for the upcoming 2022 edition.

jihday:
hmmmm, I’ve always thought 98 was the first edition. When did it actually start?

Pep has enough in his arsenal (no pun intended) to get the job done. Guardiola would have assessed the strength of his rivals I'm sure. Probably feels they are still not strong.

Komekn comes here always claiming to know every Nigerian player in the UK and also dine with every club management in the UK but not once has he given us anything as pure and genuine as what TheLoneCitizen is giving us so far, even without unnecessary bragging grin

Komekn, oya prove us wrong for once by giving us a single name of a club a Nigerian origin player will be moving to in the UK this summer. grin
