Just watched the Musa show!!! Alhaji was too much with Rangers, baba even made an accurate cross with his left foot. Meanwhile those Rangers boy can shoot o, 2 goals from shots outside the 18, also two attempts smacking the upright!!! What a game!!!!!

Meanwhile is Keita really on the team? Didn't see him at all.

Also how old exactly is Rabiu Alli? That man's longevity needs to be studied!!!
My own is why do they always wanna beat the referee after any decision.. See how they swarmed at her after a penalty call.

Also at the last clip, after blowing final whistle, it's even Rabiu Ali who was closer to the ref trying to shield her from Rangers players.

Make them dey calm down.

And next up: BROWN IDEYE TO RIVERS UTD IS GATHERING MOMENTUM

aicon4s:

See a "Finished" Ahmed Musa balling against Enugu Rangers, to show the poor quality of players in our home league.
Other ex-internationals in that Pillars team were:
Rabiu Ali
Shehu Abdulahi
Sanni Keita

This is really good for our league. If other Ex-internationals can emulate these our Northern brothers, the league will be more interesting to watch and stadiums would be packed because fans would want to see these ex-internationals on their local pitches.

When this Kano Pillars team visits my City, I will definitely go out to watch them play.

I think we scored 11 goals at the 2013. Emenike =4. Moses=2. Mba=2.Ideye=1. Musa=1. Echiejile=1.

Still my best Afcon experience till date. Great games, beautiful stadiums and the fact we won it on Southie soil made it sweeter.

I'm still waiting to meet any of Ghana or South Africa in an Afcon final. It will be a blockbuster... That is only if they can make it there.

Modified
Also great coach. Rip Big Boss. I never saw him play, but I can see how mafian he was just by looking at him on the touchline.
right. i made a mistake.

I hope coach Zubair gets it right today. Burkina Faso and Ivory coast have always been hard nuts to crack for our age grade male teams. Hope Daga's absence will not be missed. Wishing this team all the best

I remember very well sir.
It was a beautiful game.
Most of them were just gidigbo, only few were technical. Echeijile, mikel, Victor moses.
If 2013 team na gidigbo then what do you have to say about 2024 team

But the 2024 set not more technical than 2013 either.

I don't think any of 2013 set is technically better than Mikel,Ideye and Victor Moses .

If I'm to choose who wins,is 2013 set
not forgetting IK Uche.

But letting us know that Daniel Bameyi is playing CB today alongside Haruna Aliyu (#5). He is not playing RB as he did in the last U20 WC.

No sir

No airline takes off without a predetermined destination. They have a flight plan they stick to. What that means is that Libya knew before taking off (at least a day prior) that they were going to land in Port Harcourt. They didn't discover that while in the air. So you saying "the Libyans didn't know flying to Uyo requires a special clearance" presupposes that they had an intention to fly to Uyo after getting to PH which is the point I was making. So if they had plans to fly from PH to Uyo since they had felt they wouldn't require a special clearance like you affirmed, then they wouldn't have refused to after the NFF got them said clearance.

2. Libyans aren't novices to the process is my point. The Libyan FA have had to make same arrangement for 2 of their club sides that flew directly to Uyo without issues. How did issues suddenly arise when it involved their own national team? And no I don't expect them to petition the said agencies, I only expect them to Inform the NFF of the difficulty they faced well before they travelled so it's sorted and not a few hours to landing.

Man you see why I’m getting frustrated with you. When did I say or imply all this? Ehn?

You keep arguing on things I never said, meant or alluded to at all and by doing that you distort the whole point. I’ve been an MFS player for almost 8 years. Do you think I do not know how flight plans work? Let me break down my points into simple sentence lines

Libya wants to fly to Uyo. They inform NFF

Libyan FA asks their logistics team to arrange the travel.

NFF arranges an Uyo delegation.

Somebody at this point is supposed to sort out issues regarding special clearance since Uyo ordinarily cannot receive direct foreign flights.

Libya is most likely not aware of this fact. Even if they had a team come before, if they aren’t the ones who sorted it earlier, they may not be be aware.

The flight team requests clearance (most likely through a third party) it comes back denied.

NFF were not aware of the denial.

Libya at this point thinks there’s foul play.

Libya is advised to fly to PH instead so the flight is filed to PH.

Since NFF are not aware of the change in plan, they continue with Uyo plans.

Libya lands in PH and cannot find NFF delegation. At this point they’ve fully convinced themselves that it’s all on purpose.

NFF suddenly are surprised to hear that the Libyans are in Port harcourt and scramble to get there.

Libyans are thoroughly pissed as it takes NFF hours to relocate everything to PH. They swear to deal with us.

Now whose fault is it? It boils down to who is actually responsible for making sure foreign team flights can land in Uyo.

I don’t think it’s the Libyans cause I don’t see how Libyans would be the ones communicating with our federal agencies. They only know one contact: NFF

Now note that the minister of sports mentioned that NFF liaises with th NCAA for landing clearance. So did they ensure that clearance was obtained in this case?

We don't seem to be building up smoothly from the back though.

I noticed Raphael Oyebanjo falls back often between the 2 CBs to form a back 3 pushing the 2 fullbacks upwards when we trying to build up plays.

Danielnino00:

Like you said, getting a landing permit for an international flight is a long bureaucratic process.. And you also admitted that the NFF were not aware that the landing permit for the Libyans was not approved until they (Libyans) were airborne...

So, what exactly is the problem?
Where exactly did the NFF get it wrong?

Because they’re likely the ones who should have ensured that there’s clearance.

Although Libya is also at fault for not telling NFF about the denied clearance maybe thinking that NFF was doing it on purpose which I don’t believe to be the case. The permit was denied before they left Libya.

Amedino99:
common sense would dictate that the visiting team would furnish the home team with flight plans before hand right?
Yes.

And they did. But they did not inform NFF of the denied clearance.

Considering the fact that many teams have landed in Uyo in the past without clearance issue, I find it hard to believe that the Libyan were denied landing permit...
