Onyeka deserved to be in the team.

Papa is the expected wild choice i give to coaches. But by now a veteran like Onyeka should be a settled name
This is shocking. How on earth can he leave out an onyeka that has been so instrumental for us for the likes of Alhassan and Papa?? What is Chelle thinking??

Short of youtube highlights, I have absolutely no idea who Papa Daniel Mustapha is, can anyone here who watches the NPFL give a detailed and honest profile/style of football about this lad?

I don't really think that the defence is lean. He only maximized the versatility of the players. Ogbuh, LCB & RCB. Aina , RB & LB. Osayi RB & LB and Bassey LCB & LB it's more like having additional players

We are overworking our defense.
Simple

No. Onyeka plays week in week out for Augsburg. The coach has his reasons for his selection. All we can do is wish the team the best. Guess he did not want to upset the team balance with too many new faces. They have just at most 2 to 3 training sessions before the game against Rwanda. All those who missed out, their time will come.
If so, then Onyeka over Papa. Because new faces in the attack is enough & won't hurt as much as in the midfield

I actually thought the following players will make the list..

1. Gabriel Osho
2. Desser
3. Uche
4. Onyeka
5. Okoye.

Imagine the leagues these players are playing and still not considered. Okoye was fantastic last night.

I am surprised too but with dis list,I won’t be surprise if he already knows his starting lineup
Either Aribo or Papa Daniel should have been left off for Onyeka. Now is not the time to bring in new players oo especially to replace a player like Frank

Played abroad as a teen in Turkey. The guy has potential and if he does well with the CHAN, he is one I think would have a good career beyond our shores

Eric Chelle's pattern of play will justify his player invitations.
Until I see what he does with the present crop of players, I will reserve any comments.

Eric Chelle's looks, reads seriousness,
but there is something about him that doesn't appeal to me.

Anyways, I just pray he wins, that is all that matters.

....but why is Onyeka missing because d last tym I checked German league is far far and far ahead of MLS league.
So my conclusion is, owó lowó Isau but ohùn lohùn Jacob. The Jacob here is NFF, the abirùn people at d glass

THIS IS PATHETIC.

I still wonder d kind of balablue bulaba abracadabra dat was performed by osele to have considered Yusuf ahead of Onyeka.

I just watched some YouTube doc videos on both players and all I can say is dat there is INEK Magic performed by balablue bulaba NFF and stamped by memudu yaqubu Osele originator.

Haa naija d far you see d less you know.

Emábínú.

Maybe he is not fully fit and he doesn't want to gamble.
There is no way they should drop a hard worker like Onyeka in that midfield for a Alhassan who is lightweight.
There has to be an explanation.
Let's just wait for Chelle's reasons, journalists must query him to defend his list.

Onyeka and Uche ahead of Alhassan and Aribo any day, they are more built for super eagles,
as for the other Papa guy,I don't know anything about him.

Dessers wil and should be on that list. He's tearing things up and consistent too. If that's not enough to be in final list then make everywhere ice up. That's the kind of form that earned Boniface his debut too.

Sad he wasn't included. What does he need to do really? Smh

I can smell external influence in the final list because I see no reason why Papa Abi Mama and Alhassan will displace Onyeka and Uche

Okoye is back to reckoning at Udinese and was impressive in their last game but certain Johnny Walkers wey I no knw were preferred ahead of the Udine goal minder

Well mk I fold my arms dey watch 🤦‍♀️
